The Real Housewives of Orange County stars Shannon Beador and John Janssen appear to have settled their contentious legal battle.

Us Weekly can confirm Janssen, 64, has filed a “notice of settlement” in regards to his suit against Beador, 60.

In the filing obtained by People, Janssen stated he and Beador came to a settlement and checked the box that an upcoming filing for dismissal would be “unconditional” and submitted within 45 days. It is unclear what the terms of the settlement are.

In March, Janssen sued his ex-girlfriend for breach of oral contract and promissory fraud, claiming that she failed to repay him $75,000.

In court documents obtained by People, Janssen alleged that Beador asked him for the money in 2022. He sent her $40,000 via wire transfer in January of that year, which was allegedly used for a plastic surgery procedure. He also sent her an additional $35,000 payment in May 2023, given by personal check.

During The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 reunion, which kicked off in November, Beador explained that she offered Janssen an agreed $70,000 if they signed a mutual non-disparagement agreement.

She claimed he denied her request, which Alexis Bellino — who is a “friend” this season and is currently engaged to Janssen — previously said was because he wanted to defend himself from false allegations.

In a prior episode, Janssen explained why he felt the need to file a lawsuit to settle the alleged loan.

“I didn’t want to take legal action, but my hands were tied as I was days away from crossing the statute of limitations of being able to do anything legally,” he revealed via People. “[Beador] 100 percent knew these were loans, I have proof of that. Shannon sent me an email admitting it was a loan, so the comments about these being gifts are patently false.”

Beador started dating Janssen in 2019. They were together for nearly four years before calling it quits in January 2023.

Since then, Beador has kept her romantic life out of the spotlight. She is, however, expected to appear on a new Peacock dating show with other single Real Housewives stars titled Love Hotel.

“I hadn’t been on a date in a year and so I did go on dates and I met a lot of very interesting men on that show,” Beador exclusively teased to Us Weekly at Emily Simpson’s RHOC watch party on November 14. “So we’ll see. I thought, ‘Oh my gosh. I’m gonna go just have fun. I’m not gonna meet anybody.’ Well, I did meet people. You’re going to see it. I have to tell you it’s a really good show.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET. Stream old episodes on Peacock.
