Dorit Kemsley is seemingly done protecting estranged husband PK Kemsley.
“I wake up to a seven-page email and it was a barrage. It was primarily financials. His expectations were within a month or two that I will be responsible for the mortgage and all the bills associated with the house,” Dorit, 48, claimed during the Tuesday, February 4, episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. “There was also discussion of custody, lawyers and threats of, if this doesn’t happen, I will be proceeding with divorce.”
Dorit revealed in a different episode this season that PK threatened divorce during a four-hour therapy session.
When talking at a dinner with Kathy Hilton, Bozoma Saint John and Erika Jayne during Tuesday’s episode, Dorit shared that it was a “really angry horrible note” about finances. He claimed, “I’m going to stop paying this and you’re going to be liable for this.”
Erika, 53, suggested that Dorit get a lawyer as the separation continues. (Dorit and PK announced their separation in May 2024. They are parents to son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, 8.)
“He is not a man I recognize at all,” Dorit continued, before noting she went through the “worst of the worst” in their marriage alone. Dorit explained that she didn’t want people to “think badly” about PK. Now, however, she’s telling her side.
“When PK and I had decided to separate, we had said we’re going to take some time apart, we’re going to work on the resentments and the issues that we have that have built up over the last few years,” she alleged elsewhere during the dinner. “I was very protective of my husband, of my family.”
When Kathy, 65, referred to PK as “a very good father,” Dorit candidly replied, saying, “Wrong.”
“There are times that I think PK is the greatest father in the world. But is he the most hands-on father? The truth is no,” Dorit explained in her confessional, claiming, “He would disappear and be gone for weeks and weeks without even calling the kids. I worked overtime to put in their heads that their father was trying to call, wanted to see them, missed them so much. I’ve protected him at all costs, no matter what. And I don’t think he realizes that.”
The other women started to speak honestly with Dorit following her confessions at dinner with Erika wondering what she was waiting for and Bozoma asking a hard-hitting question.
“Do you think he still wants to be married to you?” Bozoma wondered. Dorit replied, “No, I don’t.”
