Move over DOGE, RFK Jr. is taking on big waist in government.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. repeatedly ribbed West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey about his weight at a public event last week, offering to be his personal trainer, and even suggesting the portly Mountain State honcho submit to public weigh-ins.

“I said to Gov. Morrisey the first time I saw him, I said, ‘you look like you ate Gov. Morrisey,’” the Health and Human Services secretary joked, drawing gales of laughter from the crowd as Morrisey sat just feet away.

The joint event in Martinsburg was to promote the eccentric Kennedy scion’s “Make America Healthy Again” agenda, which is working to purge the US food supply of additives, dyes and other unhealthy ingredients.

Morrisey — whose state leads the nation in obesity — recently signed a bill that would prohibit West Virginia residents on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as food stamps, from buying soda with the benefits.

But even the governor’s support of RFK Jr.’s signature crusade to encourage healthier lifestyles wasn’t enough to prevent him from getting dunked on again and again from the stage.

“I’m going to put him on a really rigorous regime. We’re going to put him on a carnivore diet,” Kennedy said from the podium.

“Raise your hand if you want Gov. Morrisey to do a public weigh-in once a month,” he chided as the audience broke into applause.

“You’re welcome, Denise,” Kennedy said, referring to Morrisey’s wife.

The HHS chief added that he’d come back for a “celebration” when the governor drops 30 pounds.

Internet scolds were quick to lambaste Kennedy for “fat shaming” the governor, but Morrisey seemingly took Kennedy’s words to heart in a post on X following the event, in which he announced a new initiative to encourage West Virginians to walk at least a mile every day.

“I know walking every day won’t be easy for everyone, including myself. But it’s worth the effort and will help all of us live longer and spend more time with our friends and family on things that matter,” Morrisey wrote.

“In my life, I haven’t always made the right decisions in terms of food and exercise, but I am going to do my best now to improve and shed some pounds,” he said, sharing a picture of a sunset in Shannondale taken on his walk.
