A businessman accused by Rep. Nancy Mace of being a sexual predator in a House floor speech last month has sued the South Carolina Republican for defamation.
Brian Musgrave, one of four businessmen whom Mace claimed were involved in sex trafficking and filming non-consensual nude videos of women — including herself — filed a lawsuit against the congresswoman in South Carolina federal court Thursday, denying all allegations.
He added that he never tried to “film” or “incapacitate” female victims, “and her team destroyed the lives” of himself and his family.
In the explosive remarks last month, Mace said she found the more than 10,000 videos and other photographic evidence on the phone of her ex-fiancé, Patrick Bryant.
Musgrave is seeking punitive damages in an amount to be determined by a jury “sufficient to impress upon the defendant the seriousness of her conduct and to deter such similar conduct in the future,” according to the suit.
The Post reached out to Mace’s spokesperson for comment.
