Priscilla Presley returned to her roots for a very brief cameo in 2025’s The Naked Gun.
The actress and entrepreneur starred in the first three films in the franchise: 1988’s The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, 1991’s The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear and 1994’s Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult. She portrayed the character Jane Spencer alongside Leslie Nielsen’s Lt. Frank Drebin.
Nielsen died in 2010, and Presley reflected on working with the actor in the trio of films decades later.
“It was difficult to get through a scene with him,” she said in December 2024, per Collider. “He was great, and I miss him very much, but he passed. It was hard to get through these things, laughing at each other. He would start laughing, crying with laughing until the director would come and he would say, ‘OK kids, we’re going to take this seriously.’”
Presley continued, “Now we’re on our fourth take and as he’s talking to me, you don’t see me, I’m looking away, I’m cracking up. He was so good, so deadpan. Well, I was good too.”
At the time, she also addressed The Naked Gun sequel starring Liam Neeson as Lt. Frank Drebin’s son, Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. and Pamela Anderson as his love interest, Beth Davenport.
“I guess they’re going to do a new one now,” Presley reflected. “I hear Pamela Anderson is going to play my part, and I’m sure she’ll be good. I’d like to see her and how she plays it.”
The Naked Gun was released in theaters in August 2025. To fans’ surprise, Presley was a part of the reboot in an interesting and unexpected way.

Presley reprises her role of Jane Spencer in 2025’s The Naked Gun, per IMDb. The scene begins with Frank Jr. at an MMA tournament on New Year’s Eve. Frank Jr.’s pants accidentally fall down, flashing his bare butt to the crowd and viewers at home. The camera cuts to a shocked Presley as she sits on the couch watching the incident unfold on TV. She does not have any lines in the scene.
Jane Spencer’s Return to ‘Naked Gun’ Raises Question About Frank Jr.’s Age
After Frank and Jane wed in the third Naked Gun film, they went on to have a baby boy. Presley’s cameo not only marks the return of Jane, but also gives fans of the franchise a sweet glimpse of her life as a mom to Frank Jr.
The fourth film takes place 31 years after the first film, meaning Frank Jr. would technically only be 31 years old in The Naked Gun. However, the franchise is centered around making people laugh with its outlandish and ridiculous plots, so it’s not so far-fetched after all that 73-year-old Neeson is playing Frank’s son.
Priscilla Presley Initially Denied Involvement in ‘The Naked Gun’
Presley was adamant about not being a part of The Naked Gun when asked about her involvement during an October 2022 interview with The Standard.
“No, I won’t [be in it]! I wouldn’t do it really if I was asked because you don’t fix something that’s already fixed,” she said at the time. “That movie I don’t think can be rebooted in the way that Leslie Nielsen and I did it. It was just a great relationship and friendship and we got along great on the set and that was just all fun and what a great experience.”
The Dallas alum continued, “Now, in this one, gosh, the actors who are playing the characters, I can’t see it visually. Maybe it will come across great, but I wouldn’t be a part of it.”
