Pawn Stars personality Rick Harrison doesn’t understand why his son Corey Harrison launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover his medical bills related to a recent motorcycle accident.

“As far as I know, I paid all of Corey’s medical bills long before he put the GoFundMe out,” a spokesperson for Rick, 60, claimed to Page Six on Friday, March 6. “He is a grown man in his 40’s and is responsible for how he handles his finances.”

Us Weekly reached out to Corey, 42, for comment.

Corey sustained serious injuries, including multiple broken bones, in a motorcycle crash in Mexico earlier this year.

“Pretty messed up but I’m good crash bars are awesome 3 nights in the hospital 11breaks in my rib cage,” Corey wrote via Instagram in January. “Will do an episode on @theCoreyHarrisonshow. Sorry Pops, looks like I’m missing your wedding.”

Rick married Angie Polushkin in January, with the reality TV star’s rep subsequently telling Entertainment Weekly that Corey would “recover fully” after being on “bed rest of six weeks while he heals.” The spokesperson also noted that Rick visited his son in the hospital before his wedding day. (Rick, a father of three, shares Corey with Kim Harrison.)

As Corey recovered, one of his friends launched an online fundraiser on his behalf to cover his medical expenses.

“Help Corey ‘Big Hoss’ Harrison Recover from Devastating Motorcycle Accident in Mexico,” Corey’s friend Aron Chambers wrote in a GoFundMe description, seeking to raise $18,000. “If you’ve watched Pawn Stars, you know Corey as the quick-witted guy behind the counter who always brings the laughs and tough negotiations. Off camera, he’s just Corey: loyal, proud, independent, and someone who’s always there for his friends and family. Right now, though, he needs our help more than ever.”

According to Chambers, he had Corey’s “full knowledge and blessing” to create the fundraising page.

“We’re raising emergency funds to cover more than $100,000 in medical bills and related expenses after a serious motorcycle accident in Tulum, Mexico, that left him fighting for his life,” Chambers wrote. “Just days before his father Rick Harrison’s wedding in Cancun in February 2026, Corey was involved in a major motorcycle crash in Tulum. He suffered devastating injuries: 11 fractured ribs, a punctured lung, a concussion, and internal bleeding.”

He continued, “After 14 grueling days in the hospital, the financial pressure became too much, and Corey had no choice but to check himself out against medical advice. We brought him back to his home in Tulum, hoping some rest would turn things around. It didn’t. Within hours, Corey was in excruciating pain. A house doctor came in to administer IV fluids and morphine treatments.”

Corey ultimately returned to the local hospital for three “live-saving surgeries.”

“By the time he was finally stabilized and discharged, the total costs — from the initial stay in Playa del Carmen, emergency house calls, urgent care visits, the drive to Mérida, and the surgeries — had skyrocketed past $100,000,” the website description notes. “Corey emptied his entire bank account to cover what he could. Friends, including myself, maxed out credit cards just to keep his treatment going.”

Chambers’ GoFundMe has raised over $8,000 at the time of publication.
