A Georgia teen has been missing for several days after she vanished hours after going homecoming-dress shopping — and her distraught family fears she may have been lured away by someone she met online.

Amy Reidling, 14, was last seen at her home in Decatur on the outskirts of Atlanta on Sunday afternoon, cops said. The high school freshman was reported missing just hours later when her stepmother returned from dinner and realized she’d disappeared.

“I opened the door and she was gone. I tore the house apart,” stepmom Ginny Rutledge told 11Alive.

The stepmom and the teen’s father, Mike Reidling, insisted there was no warning before her disappearance, and believe she met someone online who coached her on how to run away.

She had only just gone shopping with her stepmom earlier in the day for homecoming attire and had been excited about the upcoming event this weekend, they said.

“Amy, we love you, we miss you, we want you here,” Rutledge said. “Please let us know you’re okay if you can. Be safe. Fight hard. Fight hard,” they said, suggesting she may be being held.

Her parents say she’s been silent on social media and her phone has been going straight to voicemail since she was last seen. She also has next to no money.

“There’s a lot she doesn’t know and especially in a big city like Atlanta,” Rutledge said.

“It’s a cliche and everything, but you never think it’ll happen. But here we are.”

Police have put out a missing person’s alert for the girl and the family have since hired a private investigator.

The teen has been described as 5’1″ and 105 lbs with brown eyes and brown hair with bangs.
