An elderly woman attacked in her Hollywood Hills home by a pair of masked intruders has been identified by neighbors as Budget Rent a Car heiress Margaux Mirkin, according to reports. The two thieves broke into the Lookout Mountain Avenue mansion just before 8:30 p.m. Thursday to find the victim inside, the Los Angeles Police Department said. The thugs attacked the woman, who is in her 70s, and strangled her before stuffing jewelry into their pockets and fleeing, cops said. The woman was rushed to the hospital and later released.
