Goldie Hawn’s family is going all-out to mark her milestone 80th birthday on Friday, November 21.

“We would have done anything for her. Totally up to her,” Hawn’s eldest son, Oliver Hudson, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting his new Magnolia Network series, Gingerbread Land: The Biggest Holiday Competition. “[If] she wanted to go to the moon, we’d figure it out, but she’s a simple gal.”

Hawn shares Oliver, 49, and daughter Kate Hudson, 46, with ex Bill Hudson, as well as son Wyatt Russell, 39, with longtime partner Kurt Russell. (Kurt, 74, is also father of son Boston Russell, 45, from a previous marriage.)

“She wants her family, and that’s it, and that’s what we’re doing now,” Oliver told Us of the festivities. “We have a lot of fun things planned within that she doesn’t know about, but we are just going to keep it [and] keep it [just to] family.”

Oliver further teased that his blended family had a lot of ideas to celebrate the Oscar winner on her special day.

“We’ve got some golf tournament things, we’ve got some cooks, [and] we might have some music,” he told Us. “We’ve got some stuff, you know, but the patrons will be just the family.”

Hawn’s family were also quick to mark her big day on social media.

“To distill half of her life that I’ve known into a single caption feels impossible. I have been the lucky recipient of novels of love and wisdom from her,” Kate wrote via Instagram, alongside a handful of throwback images on Friday. “She is truly extraordinary and as I celebrate her everyday, today we all get to share in it!”

The Song Sung Blue actress concluded, “Please join me in wishing a huge Happy Birthday to this 80 year old queen goddess! We love you, Mama.”

Several of Hawn and Kate’s celebrity friends also celebrated the special occasion in the comments section.

“Scorpio sister Goldie!!!! So much love and thanks,” Rita Wilson replied, with supermodel Karlie Kloss calling Hawn a “queen goddess.”

Hawn and Russell have long maintained a close-knit relationship with their children and grandchildren.

“I don’t know who I would be without my mother. I can’t even fathom it,” Oliver previously gushed on a 2024 episode of his and Kate’s “Sibling Revelry” podcast. “The love that I have for her and the respect and the reverence that I have for her is beyond anything.”

Months later, Oliver detailed his dynamic with Kurt.

“Kurt came into my life when I was 5 or 6 and essentially he raised me. I’m the man I am today because of him, right?” Oliver recalled on a November 2024 episode of the podcast. “There was a moment when he asked us, myself and Kate, if we wanted to be adopted, and we said no. … I don’t remember the age, but we just said, ‘Well, we don’t need it. The love is right there.’”

The love has, naturally, extended to the next generation.

“They’re the best [and] the greatest grandparents,” Wyatt’s wife, Meredith Hagner, told Us in August 2024. “They live down the road from us, so that’s [my kids’] second home. They’ll have a cookie jar that’s always full, and my son knows where it is, and they have a toy box that is always brimming with toys.”
