In the midst of getting himself ready for the NFL Draft, Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart still had time for reality TV hot takes.

Dart, 21, exclusively confessed to Us Weekly that he’s a member of Bachelor Nation — and came with some opinions about the latest season of The Bachelor, which featured Grant Ellis’ search for love.

“I’m out on Grant,” said Dart, while promoting his partnership with Head & Shoulders. “I thought Litia [Garr] was going to run away with it, to be honest. Look, I think that shows that we all don’t think the same.”

He added, “No disrespect, I just feel like he just missed out on a great opportunity.”

During the season 29 finale of The Bachelor in March, Ellis, 31, broke up with Garr, 32, to pursue a relationship with Juliana Pasquarosa.

Dart also has an affinity for Love Island, though he said he wouldn’t define it as a “guilty pleasure.”

“It’s just what I like to watch,” he noted.

Despite being a Utah native, Dart told Us he hasn’t dipped his toes into either The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City or The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives

Dart said, “I don’t watch any of that other stuff.”

On the football side of things, Dart used his NFL Draft preparation as a means to reflect on how far he’s come and how much he’s learned. The quarterback began his collegiate career at the University of Southern California before transferring to Ole Miss in 2022.

“I think it’s really been a maturity growth each year,” Dart said. “I think initially when you come in as a 17-year-old freshman, you don’t really understand what all entails being a quarterback at the highest level. Each year you’re learning, you’re maturing, you’re really just becoming a professional.”

He continued, “I feel like I’m ready. I’m ready for this next step. I’m ready to take on any challenge that’s put in front of me and be able to succeed at the highest level. I just feel like I’m ready for it.”

In the lead-up to the Draft, Dart partnered with Head & Shoulders, which he said “has been manifested since I was in high school.”

“That was when I grew my hair out for the first time,” Dart explained. “I had a few buddies who also did the same thing. We talked about it when there were the [former Pittsburgh Steelers star] Troy Polamalu Head & Shoulders commercials. We always talked about what a great partnership it would be.”

He added, “I’m just super grateful to have this opportunity and to be making these relationships. I think it’s going to go a long way. It’s not going to be something that’s short-term.”
