Elizabeth Romanova has worked as a full-time escort for more than 10 years — a profession many would think disqualifies her from being considered “Mother of the Year.”
But for the 33-year-old single mother, the two roles not only coexist — they go hand in hand.
Romanova, who is also the mother of a 15-year-old daughter, said that her child is aware of what she does for work. She believes that honesty, even when uncomfortable, is an essential foundation for trust and emotional well-being — qualities that she prioritizes both as a parent and as a professional.
“I’ve always been committed to raising her to be open-minded, compassionate and accepting of all kinds of people and their choices,” Romanova told NeedToKnow.
“Lying to her about my work would go against everything I want to teach her about kindness, respect and empowerment.”
Romanova, who advertises her services on Vivastreet, became an escort at the age of 18. At the time, she was a young, single mother still in school, facing the daunting financial demands of raising a child alone.
The flexibility and income the escort work provided her allowed Romanova to build a stable and loving home — something she says traditional 9-to-5 jobs would not have made possible.

“Being an escort has made me stronger, more independent, and more capable of providing a beautiful life for my child,” the single mother insisted.
Romanova considers herself a role model for her teenage daughter, showing her “what strength and independence look like in a woman.”
Despite facing judgment and societal stigma, Romanova says she remains grounded in her choices and proud of the life she has built for herself and her child.
She hopes that by sharing her story, she can help change the conversation around sex work and motherhood.
“There’s still a lot of stigma out there, but I’ve built a strong sense of self,” she said.
“I’m proud of my journey, both as an escort and as a mother.”
