A missing 9-year-old girl was found dead early Thursday in a Pennsylvania river — and her adoptive mom’s girlfriend has been charged with her murder, according to cops.

Renesmay Eutsey was found partially submerged in the Youghiogheny River near Smithton, about 40 miles southeast of Pittsburgh and 20 miles south of her home in Dunbar.

Kourtney Malinda Eutsey, the 31-year-old girlfriend of the Renesmay’s court-ordered custodian, Sarah Shipley, had reported the youngster missing on Wednesday afternoon — some 11 hours after she claimed to have last seen her at 2 a.m. that day, WTAE reported.

Eutsey has since been charged with homicide, the Fayette County District Attorney’s Office said, without detailing how Renesmay died or how she ended up in the river.

The 9-year-old lived with Eutsey, Shipley and three other children, according to the outlet.

Eutsey waited until 1 p.m. Wednesday to report the girl missing, despite telling detectives she had not seen her since she was in her bedroom at 2 a.m., KDKA-TV reported.

However, an “electronic device [Renesmay] was believed to have used” pinged inside the residence around 6 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police Sergeant Richard Sizer told a press conference Wednesday afternoon.

Before her body was located, Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele said investigators were having trouble due to “conflicting information.”

“Any time that we have conflicting information. That’s concerning. Any time that we have a nine-year-old child that’s missing, it’s concerning,” he told reporters.
