Five new alleged victims of a married Indiana teacher accused of sexually assaulting young boys have come forward claiming the educator forced them to have group sex — and threatened to kill herself if they reported it.
Former math teacher Brittany Fortinberry, 31, who met her victims — some as young as 13 — at two different Martin County schools in 2024, was hit with a slew of new sexual abuse charges this week.
Fortinberry allegedly drugged one of the victims repeatedly before assaulting him when he was 13, according to court documents obtained by WTHR.
The teen claimed Fortinberry had him bring his friends to her house and would give them drugs and have sex with them. She also allegedly reached out to one of the boys after her arrest in a separate misconduct investigation last month.
The since-fired teacher is also accused of spending $600 buying things for the teens before sexually assaulting them — during which she made them wear masks from the movie “Scream.”
She then allegedly told the teens that if they reported anything she would kill herself.
One of the victims later told police that Fortinberry would put her children to bed before trying to have sex with the victims. She also allegedly sexually assaulted one teen whom she had asked to babysit her kids.
Another victim accused Fortinberry of offering between $100 and $800 to the boys for photos of their genitals.
One of her alleged victims told police that if the boys said they didn’t want to have sex with her, she would rape them while saying, “Just let it happen.”
All of the teens said Fortinberry would send them nude and explicit photos and videos on Snapchat and another app called Session.
While most of the victim’s parents were unaware of the abuse before a Department of Child Services investigation, one parent told police that Fortinberry’s husband knew what was happening and “threatened to slaughter (the teen) in front of her if he came forward,” according to court docs.
Last month, the former teacher was accused of sexually abusing several students — but blamed the twisted perversion on her 150-pound weight loss.
At the time, the victim told authorities there were at least five other victims, but possibly as many as 10.
Prosecutors on Tuesday filed a motion to add 10 counts of child molestation, eight counts of dissemination of matter harmful to a minor, five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of sexual misconduct with a minor, according to WTHR.
Those charges are in addition to the three counts of sexual misconduct, one count of dissemination of matter harmful to minors and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor that were filed against her in February.
Prosecutors also filed to increase Fortinberry’s bond from $20,000 to $150,000.
