The maniac who allegedly slashed two men in their faces in a wild, caught-on-video outburst on a busy Queens subway platform this week was busted after he allegedly threw a tantrum at the homeless shelter where he’d been staying, cops and sources said.

Tyquan Manassa, 28, was charged Friday with four counts of assault in connection to the Wednesday afternoon attack on two men on the southbound platform of the E and F train at the Union Turnpike station in Kew Gardens, according to the NYPD.

During Manassa’s rampage, he allegedly approached a 42-year-old man from behind and slashed him with an “unknown sharp object” on the forehead, police said.

He then turned on a 50-year-old man, who he also cut across his face, police said.

Footage shows both victims appearing stunned and holding tissues to their bleeding wounds, as concerned straphangers surrounded them on the bustling platform.

One Good Samaritan was seen graciously holding pressure to one of the victim’s forehead as he made a phone call.

The two men were transported to local hospitals in stable condition, police said.

Manassa was connected to the crime after cops nabbed him for an unhinged outburst at the Ward’s Island shelter, where he’d been staying, around 5:30 a.m. Thursday, sources said.

In that case, he allegedly started turning over tables, knocking over water and an ice machine, throwing a fire extinguisher and turning over a bed with someone sleeping in it, the sources said.
