Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox may be exes, but as parents, they’re a united front.

During an interview with Jennifer Hudson on her eponymous talk show Thursday, September 18, Kelly (real name Colson Baker) opened up about his and Fox’s baby girl, Saga Blade, 6 months.

“My family is Norwegian and there’s a Norwegian goddess named Saga, and it means epic story. And so we named her Saga because to get her on this earth through highs and lows, it truly was an epic story of love, pain and a lot of magic,” Kelly, 35, told Hudson, 44, of his and Fox’s relationship.

Us Weekly reported in June 2020 that Fox and Kelly were “officially dating” after sparking romance rumors a month prior. The pair got engaged in January 2022 but split in November 2024 after announcing they were expecting their first baby together. Saga Blade Fox-Baker was born in March. (Fox, 39, also shares three children — Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, Journey, 9 — with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.)

“I had [Saga] with the person who is the greatest partner, like, the greatest partner to have had a child with, because she’s such a phenomenal mom,” Kelly told Hudson of Fox. “We go back and forth on who [Saga] looks like,” he continued. “Last month, she looked exactly like me, and now she looks exactly like her.”

Although a source told Us exclusively in August 2025 that Fox and Kelly were not labeling their relationship after Saga’s birth, things reportedly did “feel back to ‘normal’ between them.”

“Megan is very strong-willed and doesn’t want to give in to MGK and allow him fully back in. She’s standing her ground but, of course, still loves him,” the insider said.

A second source, meanwhile, told Us that Fox and Kelly were “still being intimate” and were “trying to work things out to reconcile.”

Later that month, Kelly appeared on The New York Times’ “Popcast” podcast and stressed that “neither [he] nor Megan have said anything” publicly about where they stand romantically. He did admit, however, that he “fumbled” Fox.

For now, the musician is focused on promoting his new album, Lost Americana, and being a father — not only to Saga but daughter Casie, 16, whom he shares with former girlfriend Emma Cannon.

Casie recently accompanied her dad to the Daily Front Row Fashion Media Awards in New York City on September 12, where Kelly won the Style Icon Award. He shared with Hudson that he bought Casie a new car, despite the fact that she doesn’t have a driver’s license.

“I don’t have my license and she still doesn’t have her license. So, every day, she just sits in the driveway in her car and listens to music,” he said, adding that Casie will probably get her license before he ever will.

“I like the interactions that I keep having with the police every time they pull me over,” he joked.
