The pods are nearly open for Love Is Blind season 9, which means a new group of singles are ready to search for love sight unseen.
The ninth season of the dating experiment, which hits Netflix on Tuesday, October 1, will highlight singles in Denver, Colorado.
In the season 9 trailer released on Monday, September 15, viewers get a tease at some of the romantic proposals expected to go down. At the same time, heartbreak appears to be on the horizon as one cast member says, “Something in my gut is telling me this isn’t right.”
The trailer comes after Netflix shared a teaser video spotlighting some of the contestants.
“I am feeling all the emotions in the whole world,” Anna, 28, said in a Wednesday, September 10, clip. “[My biggest ick] is being disrespectful to their parents or being messy.”
Fellow contestant Madison, meanwhile, revealed that she has “a blinding eye condition” that will likely cause her to go blind at some point in her lifetime.
“This experiment is more than just an experiment for me,” the 28-year-old designer said. “It simulates what my life could be.”
Michael, for his part, proclaimed that, “This is my time [and] my moment” to meet The One.
Nick Lachey, who cohosts the show with wife Vanessa Lachey, recently gave Us Weekly a teaser of what else fans can expect from the new season.
“I kind of know how it ends up, but I’m certainly not going to give that away, but it’s interesting,” Nick, 51, exclusively told Us in August. “It’s such a special project for Vanessa and I, but we honestly don’t know the ins and outs of the season until we get to watch it ourselves. … So for us, we’re as anxious and as curious as anyone else about how everything kind of played out. We know the beginning, we know the end, but we don’t know the middle.”
