Kim Zolciak isn’t the only one facing lingering debt after her son Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr.’s escalating legal troubles.
Court documents obtained exclusively by Us reveal that Zolciak’s estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, was ordered to pay more than $64,000 in connection with his gambling debt following a November 2021 trip to the Bahamas. He defaulted, so now the company is coming to collect in his home state of Georgia.
Sky Warrior, which handles the credit lines at the Baha Mar Casino in the Bahamas, filed a request to transfer the case from New Jersey to the Peach State in December 2025, and a Fulton County judge signed off on March 17.
“The foreign judgment awards [Sky Warrior] the sum of $52,500, plus prejudgment interest, together with $11,927.35 in attorneys’ fees and costs,” the ruling read from earlier this year.
Additional court documents show that Biermann, 40, was served the post-judgment order at his Georgia home on August 28 — just days after KJ’s arrest on August 17.
Us reached out to Biermann’s attorney for comment.
The former NFL player turned Bravolebrity was sued in 2023 over the $100,000 line of credit he obtained from Sky Warrior to use at Baha Mar Casino. The company claimed he spent $52,500 in chip markers to gamble and failed to pay it back before leaving, despite claiming he had money in his SunTrust bank account for repayment.
“Despite multiple demands, Biermann has failed and refused to pay the Outstanding Amount,” the original lawsuit stated. “Biermann’s refusal to pay… constitutes a breach of the Credit Agreement.”
Biermann and Zolciak’s money woes date back years before their final divorce filing in February 2025. (Their divorce case is still ongoing.)
The exes and their family were even forced out of their Alpharetta home by U.S. marshals in April 2025.
As Us previously reported, Zolciak, 48, is also facing six-figure debt following two separate ongoing lawsuits, in which she’s accused of not paying a credit card bill and failing to repay a $131,000 business loan.
Biermann and Zolciak are also dealing with legal trouble involving their son, which only got worse when new allegations of his alleged behavior were brought to light at his bond hearing on Friday, September 11.
Prosecutors accused KJ, 15, of having sex with an underage relative. They claimed investigators allegedly uncovered footage on his phone that showed him and an unidentified family member under the age of 12 engaging in sexual activity, according to Page Six.
The outlet also reported that investigators discovered “multiple encounters” where KJ allegedly used “predatory [and] derogatory” language toward the underage family member. The incident had not been publicly reported, with prosecutors now planning to press charges.
KJ’s attorney, Jason Sheffield, denied the allegations against his client after the hearing, telling TMZ: “The characterizations made in court regarding the prior juvenile matter involving KJ Biermann grossly misrepresent both the facts and the ultimate resolution of that case.”
Sheffield added, “The matter arose from inappropriate, crude behavior involving two middle-schoolers.”
As Us previously reported, KJ was arrested in August for aggravated sexual assault and aggravated sodomy after an alleged incident with a female student in a local gym sauna. At the time, Sheffield denied any wrongdoing on his client’s behalf.
The teen was then indicted on September 3 for aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment and three counts of sexual battery against a child under the age of 16.
Zolciak fiercely defended her son after his arrest.
“The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling. He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged,” she told Us in a statement on August 21. “My son voluntarily took a polygraph examination regarding these allegations and passed. Additionally, an examination was conducted, and no DNA belonging to my son was found.”
Zolciak added, “We remain confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth, and we ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations.”
Following Friday’s hearing, the judge granted KJ’s bond, setting it at $200,000.
Us obtained his bond conditions, which will require KJ to wear an ankle monitor and remain confined to his mom’s home.
