Kim Kardashian was game to be Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton’s passenger during a recent spin in his car.
In a Monday, April 6, Instagram post, Hamilton, 41, looked focused as he was seen behind the wheel of a Ferrari. Before the video came to a close, Hamilton drifted to a stop as Kardashian, 45, smiled from the passenger seat and said, “That’s insane.”
“HERE WE GO AGAIN 🇯🇵 TOKYO DRIFT VOL. III 🎥 @13thwitness,” he captioned the post.
Hamilton also shared the clip via his Instagram Story, which he captioned, “Wait is over.”
The video comes two months after Us Weekly confirmed that Hamilton and Kardashian’s years-long friendship turned romantic.
“She has felt ready to put herself back out there recently,” a source exclusively told Us in February, sharing that the duo’s connection is still “casual.”
Later that month, the pair made headlines when they were seen watching Super Bowl LX from a private box. A second insider exclusively told Us that Hamilton and Kardashian are “going strong and really happy.”
“Lewis is head over heels and those closest to him believe he has finally met his match,” the separate source shared. “He has waited over a decade for his dream girl and is crazy about her.”
Despite their busy schedules, the insider noted that Hamilton and Kardashian have continued to keep in contact.
“They are both very committed to making things work no matter how long the distance is or how busy they are,” the second source said, noting that the twosome frequently FaceTime while Hamilton is in the paddock between his F1 races. “Because their relationship started with a friendship first, those closest to them believe this could be endgame for them both.”
The pair have kept quiet about their relationship status, but last month, Hamilton shared a sweet reaction to Kardashian’s look from the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
“GUCCI GIRL,” Kardashian wrote via Instagram in March while sharing a series of behind-the-scenes photos. Hamilton replied with a single heart-eyes emoji.
The twosome were spotted later that month walking the streets of Tokyo alongside Kim’s sister Khloé Kardashian. Hamilton, however, was not featured in Kim’s Instagram recap of the trip with her three younger kids. (Kim shares daughters North, 12, Chicago, 8, and sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 6, with ex-husband Kanye West.)
“JAPAN THINGS 🇯🇵🕹️👾🏁🥋⚔️,” Kim captioned the post, as Khloé, 41, replied in the comments section, “We had the BEST time!!!!!!! 💘.”
