Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s daughter True is all grown up and ready for second grade!
Kardashian, 41, shared a series of photos and videos via Instagram celebrating the first day of school for True, 7, on Friday, September 5.
“Just like that, my baby is off to 2nd grade. Time is flying faster than I ever imagined — it feels like I blinked and my baby grew up,” she wrote at the time. “I’m so proud of the respectful, sweet, loving, smart, beautiful girl she is. But man this all happens so quickly. In a blink 🥺.”
She continued in the caption, “Wishing my sweet True endless joy and asking God to watch over her always and forever. 💖📚✨ My two angels make me melt! Their smiles and bond are everything to me! 💕✨.”
Most of the photos featured Kardashian and True and her younger brother Tatum, 3, in front of a display that included a giant book and balloons, but the group were also joined by Thompson, 34.
Khloé and Thompson first sparked dating rumors in 2016 and vacationed to Mexico together in September of the same year. In April 2017, Khloé confirmed their relationship while admitting she would love to marry Thompson. “I would love to have a family. We’ve talked about it … I know for a fact that he would be an impeccable father,” she told ES Magazine at the time.
Khloé confirmed her pregnancy with True in December 2017, and the pair welcomed their first child together on April 12, 2018, days after news that Thompson had kissed and touched two other women at a hookah lounge in October 2017 broke. The pair continued to navigate infidelity (Thompson was spotted “chatting and flirting” with another woman in October 2018, per an eyewitness who spoke to Us Weekly) and the pair broke up in February 2019.
In August 2020, Us confirmed the duo were house hunting together. They later announced they broke up for a second time in June 2021. In December 2021, Maralee Nichols gave birth to a baby she named Theo and claimed Thompson had fathered — news he later confirmed. Khloé and Thompson welcomed their son Tatum via surrogate on July 28, 2022.
Thompson is also dad to son Prince Thompson, who he shares with ex Jordan Craig.
Back-to-school season isn’t the only thing the famous Kardashian-Jenner crew are celebrating as of late. In April, the famous family was on hand to celebrate True’s 7th birthday in April 2025. Khloé shared a series of photos and videos on April 12, 2025, alongside sister Kim Kardashian’s daughter Chicago, 7, and brother Rob Kardashian’s daughter Dream, 8, as they sang and danced to their favorite songs on a light-up floor. (Kim shares her four children North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm with with ex Kanye West, while Rob shares his daughter with Blac Chyna.
“True’s birthday! Rainbow Friends. Wow!” Khloé can be heard saying in a clip as the camera pans over a balloon arch. Another video showed off an art station, beads and glow-in-the-dark slime. “And all of this neon stuff, how cute,” Khloé says in the second clip.
Though the exes are no longer together, they have a strong coparenting relationship, and Khloé is a big part of Tristan’s brother Amari’s life as well. In April 2025, Khloé was on hand to help celebrate Amari’s 18th birthday.
“Khloé truly is such a big part of Amari’s life and I think it’s so incredibly impressive how she takes care of him,” Khloé’s mom, Kris Jenner, said on the April 3, 2025, episode of The Kardashians. “She’s literally a gift from God and so is Amari.
Amari was born with a rare form of epilepsy known as Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. Tristan was named his brother’s legal guardian in February 2025 after his mother, Andrea, died.
“Amari has never and will never be a burden or anything like that,” Khloé also explained on the episode. “Amari is one of the most special souls I have ever met.”
