Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s daughter, Daisy Dove, has inherited her mom’s musical talents.
Perry, 40, shared a handful of Instagram photos from backstage on her Lifetimes Tour, featuring examples of how she and Daisy, 4, are spending their downtime between shows.
In one sweet video, Daisy appeared to run behind the curtains in a hotel room while confidently belting a made-up song.
“Tour liffffffeeee side quest tid bits 🤸🏻♂️🧸🎤🗺️,” Perry captioned her post.
Perry, who is currently performing in Australia, gave birth to Daisy in 2020.
“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” she and Bloom said in a joint statement shared with UNICEF, of which they are both ambassadors. “But we know we’re the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was. Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds, a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes. … As parents to a newborn, this breaks our hearts, as we empathize with struggling parents now more than ever.”
Earlier this year, the singer revealed how she informed Bloom, 48, of her pregnancy. (He is also dad to 14-year-old son Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.)
“Orlando was gone and I called him. I FaceTimed him [when] I was on a hike. I was like, ‘Guess what?’” she recalled during a January interview with the U.K.’s Capital FM radio show. “I still have [the pregnancy test] and that’s weird, but it’s not. I don’t care.”
Perry further shared that the pregnancy test is located in a “drawer with lots of things,” including the prop elf ears that Bloom wore in The Lord of the Rings franchise when he famously played Legolas.
Perry and Bloom got engaged in 2019, one year before welcoming Daisy, though a source recently told Us Weekly that the couple have “grown apart.”
“They have been spending more and more time apart,” the insider exclusively told Us earlier this month. “They’ve grown apart and aren’t living the same lives anymore.”
A second source also told Us that Bloom and Perry “never set” a wedding date nor “got around to planning anything.”
While neither Perry nor Bloom publicly addressed their relationship status, they have continued publicly supporting one another in recent months. The actor was even present when Perry traveled to outer space on Blue Origin’s all-female flight in April. When she returned to Earth, she kissed the ground and held up a daisy flower in her daughter’s honor.
“One day when you’re older, will YOU still look up in wonder? Still processing this incredible journey,” she wrote via Instagram on April 15. “Thank you @blueorigin and to my space sisters, taking up space AND making room in space for all.”
Bloom, for his part, “liked” the upload.
