Jessica Alba hit the streets of New York with boyfriend Danny Ramirez one day after she candidly spoke about her fresh start amid her divorce from Cash Warren.
Alba, 44, and Ramirez, 32, were spotted walking in New York City together on Tuesday, August 12. The Honey actress looked casual in an oversized red, navy and white windbreaker over white pants and matching shoes. Alba completed her stylish look with a red crossbody bag, large hoop earrings, black sunglasses and a baseball cap.
Meanwhile, Ramirez matched his girlfriend’s vibe in a white T-shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and a baseball cap. They both carried water bottles, while Ramirez also had a tote bag.
The outing came one day after Alba opened up to Extra about her journey with her kids, Honor, 17, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7, following her split from Warren, 46.
“I think everybody can relate to — you try to plan so much, especially as a mom, you’re always trying to plan, plan and control things,” she said of her new chapter. “And I think you just realize, especially as time goes by, that what’s meant for you is actually what’s going to show up and what’s going to happen.”
Alba continued, “As much as we try to control and plan everything, sometimes, you just have to let life happen and just enjoy yourself and things will fall into place. Trust the process.”
Alba announced her split from Warren via Instagram in January.
“I’ve been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years — both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” she wrote at the time. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
Alba continued, “We are moving forward with love and kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”
The L.A.’s Finest alum filed for divorce from her husband in February. Alba cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split and listed their date of separation as December 27, 2024.
Alba later sparked a romance with Top Gun: Maverick star Ramirez. The pair were first spotted together in early July when they arrived back in L.A. after a trip to Cancún, Mexico. Later that month, they packed on the PDA while embracing in front of a car, as seen in photos shared by DeuxMoi.
A source confirmed to Us Weekly that Alba and Ramirez are “seeing” each other but “keeping things casual.”
“They were friends before it turned romantic,” the insider told Us, noting that they “have a lot of mutual friends.”
The source added, “She is having a lot of fun in this new era. It’s not serious, but she is enjoying time with him.”
Warren broke his silence on the romance in a July 30 video obtained by TMZ.
“I’m happy for her,” he said of his ex. “I don’t know [Ramirez], but he seems like a good guy.”
Warren also confirmed that he’s still single.
“No, not yet,” he said when asked whether he was dating yet. “Let me know if you got anybody.”
Earlier this month, he was photographed leaving dinner with actress and model Hana Sun Doerr. The nature of their relationship status is unknown, but Warren has “liked” multiple of Sun Doerr’s recent Instagram posts.
