Jennifer Lawrence and her husband, Cooke Maroney, are stepping out amid speculation that they have officially added a new member to their family with the arrival of their second baby.

The pair were spotted out in New York City on Sunday, March 16, per photographs shared by People. Lawrence, 34, wore a scarf and a navy trench coat, which she paired with a leopard print toe bag.

Us Weekly has reached out to Lawrence’s reps for comment.

The Oscar winner, 34, and the art gallery director, 40, have been together since 2018, and they tied the knot in October 2019. The couple are already parents of son Cy, whom they welcomed in February 2022.

Us confirmed in October 2024 that Lawrence was pregnant with baby No. 2 after she was spotted showing off her baby bump while out to dinner in Los Angeles.

Although Lawrence has opted to keep her family life private, she has previously opened up about how parenthood changed her.

“My heart has stretched to a capacity that I didn’t know about. I include my husband in that. And then they’re both just, like, out there — walking around, crossing streets,” she told Vogue in October 2022. “He’s gonna drive one day. He’s gonna be a stupid teenager and be behind the wheel of a car. And I’m just gonna be, like, ‘Good night!’ You know? Like, who sleeps?”

She continued, “The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over. Like, now is day one of my life. I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing. They’re these pink, swollen, fragile little survivors.”

Despite her newfound joy, Lawrence admitted to struggling with “mom guilt” as she attempted to balance her work schedule with the demands of parenting.

“Every day of being a mom, I feel awful,” she shared during a June 2022 “Actors on Actors” interview for Variety. “I feel guilty. I’m playing with him and I’m like, ‘Is this what he wants to be doing? Should we be outside?’ We’re outside [and I’m like], ‘What if he’s cold? What if he’s going to get sick? Should we be inside? Is this enough? Is this developing your brain enough?’”

As Lawrence and Maroney found their footing as first-time parents, Us revealed in June 2023 that they were considering expanding their family.

“They’re thinking about having another child,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “At first they weren’t sure if they wanted another one because it’s so much work, but they’re obsessed with Cy and love showing off videos to their friends and family. They’ve started warming up to the possibility of a second.”
