Jason Kelce did not mince his words as he shared a risqué response to seeing a NFL player spit on a rival.

Philadelphia Eagles’ defensive lineman, Jalen Carter, spat in the face of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott during the NFL opener which took place on Thursday, September 4 at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field.

The NFL player’s action, which occurred during an injury timeout moments after the opening kick off, led to Carter, 24, being ejected from the game as punishment. The Eagles also received a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty.

Taking to X, Kelce, 37, shared his shock after witnessing the player’s actions and made a NSFW joke about it.

“This is the most wild start to an NFL season of all time.  First play of the game, one player is carted off, the other ejected,” he wrote. “I mean everyone knows you don’t spit, you swallow obvi.”

Another post seemingly referencing the incident read, “What in the f**k just happened?”

Kelce’s post drew a mixed reaction from his followers. Some were critical of its crass nature and thought the comment was in poor taste.

“Would you want your daughters reading something like this? Grow up,” wrote one follower, while another added, “Weird thing to say.”

Others agreed with the crux of his comment despite the controversial wording. One follower commented, “Man it’s crazy, hope the player gets a life time ban.”

While Stephen A Smith refrained from making a dirty joke about the spitting incident, the sports analyst also took to social media to echo similar sentiments to Kelce.

““WTH did I just see? Jalen Carter — the Best Players on the @Eagles  defense — just got thrown out the game before a freakin snap for SPITTING….SPITTING on  @dak,” Smith, 57, wrote via X. “To hell with just an ejection. Suspend that man. How in the HELL could you do something like that? Inexcusable! Stupid! Selfish! #Damn!”

Meanwhile, ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared slow-motion footage of the spitting incident and commented via another post, “Jalen Carter ejected for apparently spitting on Dak Prescott.”

According to the Daily Herald, the Philadelphia Eagles’ defensive coordinator, Vic Fangio, complimented how much Carter brought to the table as a player earlier this week.

“I don’t know that nastiness is the right word,” Fangio, 67, said. “I just think he has to play with the right mindset to reach his potential, or come close to reaching his potential. He’s just got to be on top of the details, play with great effort, and be focused.”
