Jacob Elordi defended himself and girlfriend Kendall Jenner from photographers after a date night in Paris.
In footage shared via social media on Monday, September 28, Elordi, 29, and Jenner, 30, were followed by photographers while walking back to their hotel.
“Wait, wait, wait, can we just walk home?” the actor asked. “Stop, stop, stop.”
Elordi argued the group had enough shots of him and Jenner, adding, “Can we just walk home back to our hotel? No flash, just let us walk. Just let us go.”
Despite Elordi’s request, the cameras followed the couple as they crossed the street with their security. Jenner covered her face while walking away from the photographers, and Elordi opted for sunglasses.
Jenner and Elordi have been linked since April after being friends for years.
“They have known each other socially for years now and have hung out in similar circles, but it became romantic recently,” a source exclusively told Us at the time, adding that Kendall thought the Euphoria star was “a really cool and down-to-earth guy.”
The insider hinted Kendall’s opinion on dating an actor had changed after her sister Kylie Jenner found love with Timothée Chalamet.
“It has been fun for Kylie and Kendall to hang out with Timothée and Jacob together because they are all friendly and have a lot of common ground,” the source told Us. “It doesn’t happen often, but it has been fun for the four of them.”
Before Elordi, Kendall was linked to Devin Booker and Bad Bunny. The reality star previously spoke about her dreams of starting a family someday after seeing her sisters welcoming their own children through the years.
“I go in and out of phases [of having baby fever],” she told E! News in May 2019. “Some days, I’ll be there and I’ll be like, ‘[Oh, my God], I think it’s happening. I think I have the fever.’”
Kendall later defended her decision to not rush into that stage of her life, telling Vogue in 2024, “When I was young, I used to say that by 27, I’d love to have kids.”
She continued: “Now I’m past that and I feel like I’m still so young. I’m enjoying my kidless freedom.”
Elordi, for his part, previously dated his Kissing Booth costar Joey King and was in an on-off relationship with Olivia Jade Giannulli. He has opened up in the past about his decision to keep his dating life relatively private.
“You want it to be genuine and real and have all the feelings of what you read in 1920s literature,” he told Vanity Fair in 2020. “But when people are watching and talking about it, it makes it a little bit difficult.”
