Influencer Nicol Concilio has suffered two consecutive pregnancy losses.

“I’ll wait for your love, my love,” Concilio, 33, wrote via Instagram on Friday, February 6, sharing footage of the moment she found out she was pregnant. “This is my story of having two recurrent pregnancy losses. I’m very scared sharing this story, but my hope is that it will help anyone else going through this.” (The National Institute of Health defines recurrent pregnancy loss as two consecutive miscarriages.)

Concilio, who has more than one million Instagram followers, further noted that she is not currently expecting a baby.

“To answer any questions right off the bat, NO I am currently NOT pregnant,” she wrote. “I ask that you guys give me kindness and grace as this is a very personal thing for me to open up about. I’m currently in the process of going to a fertility doctor and ask that we leave any advice to the medical professionals I’m currently seeing. Thank you guys for allowing me and giving me the space to open up about this.”

Concilio and her husband, Riley Anderson, first found out that they were expecting in June 2025.

“I was really excited [to be pregnant] because I couldn’t believe how fast it happened,” Concilio recalled in a YouTube vlog uploaded on Friday. “It happened on the first try, and I had just gotten off birth control. … I think I was kind of scared and really just surprised. I was scared because I didn’t think it was going to happen that quickly.”

She suffered a miscarriage six weeks later.

“I got blood drawn and my HCG had plummeted and my body temperature dropped below baseline,” Concilio said. “One of the first signs I personally noticed was through my Oura ring. On the day it happened, my body temperature dropped by half a degree. For me, that change ended up being meaningful.”

Concilio and Anderson subsequently booked a couple’s therapy sessions in the days after her miscarriage.

“It was tough. It’s f***ed up,” Anderson said in his wife’s vlog. “It was nice that she didn’t have much pain or anything. [I was] definitely nervous every time she’d go to the bathroom.”

He continued, “I’ve been impressed at how she’s taking it. I’m already grateful that my mentality will be so much different.”

Concilio learned in September 2025 that she was pregnant again, only to suffer another pregnancy loss at 10 weeks.

“Eight weeks [after I found out I was pregnant], I went to see you on an ultrasound. You had no heartbeat,” she recalled in her Instagram video. “We waited one week to be sure. I lost you again, this time at 10 weeks. I’ll wait for your love, my love.”

For Concilio, it has been important to share her fertility journey with her followers.

“It’s really scary for me to open up about this kind of stuff because, even though I’ve been really candid and spoken very freely about my mental health issues, I feel like with being a mom there’s a lot of unsolicited advice,” she stated in her YouTube video. “I am scared to open this book, be judged or be told what to do and what not to do.”
