It’s time to bust out of your painful bra rut.

The wrong over-the-shoulder boulder holder can be more than just a fashion disaster — it can also mess with your health, from musculoskeletal issues to skin irritation to sore, red marks on your shoulders.

Just ask Bree McKeen. For years, the only things holding up her 34G chest were old-school underwire bras that dug trenches into her skin.

“I used to have deep grooves in my shoulders that were still there when I woke up in the morning,”she told The Post. “But I knew in my gut that there had to be a better way.”

While some women can get away with softer, dantier bralettes for everyday wear, that isn’t in the cards for women with bigger chests like McKeen.

“I wanted to be comfortable, but I sure as hell couldn’t walk into a room full of finance guys as a 34G in a ‘comfort bra,’” she said.

Desperate for a solution that didn’t involve daily discomfort but still gave her the supportive look she wanted, McKeen drew on her engineering background, anatomical research and personal experience to build something better.

The result: Evelyn & Bobbie, a wireless bra company with a patented lift system that shifts weight off your shoulders and redistributes it across your core for a fit that’s both comfortable and supportive.

“Think of it as a 360° ergonomic lift — achieved through bonded layers of technical fabric, not rigid parts,” McKeen said.

She also scrapped the traditional cup and band sizing model, which she argues is for the best since research shows most women aren’t wearing the right fit anyway.

While many are familiar with red, angry lines and indentations, the wrong brassiere can also cause neck and back pain, tension headaches, stretch marks and poor posture — and may even affect your lymphatic system and emotional health.

“The truth is, most of us were never taught how to properly assess whether a bra is actually serving our bodies,” McKeen said. “We just put up with the discomfort.”

Her brand takes a different approach. Their bras are made from “highly responsive” materials that mold to your body without losing support, with built-in flex zones capable of adapting to a wide range of ribcage and bust sizes.

“You can literally hand stretch the bras to a perfect fit,” McKeen said. “So now, even as a 34G, I get the support and shape I want, but I can move, breathe, stretch, and get s—t done, pain-free.”

A good bra, McKeen said, works with your body, not against it.

“It should feel like a second skin — one you barely notice throughout the day,” she explained.

McKeen broke down the six key features every woman should keep in mind in the fitting room, so your next bra lifts you up instead of dragging your spirits down.

  1. Wire-free lift: “With the right materials and engineering, you can achieve structure and shape without rigid metal cutting into your body,” she said.
  2. Wide, supportive straps and bands: These help spread weight evenly and ease the strain on your neck, shoulders and spine.
  3. Four-way stretch fabric: Flexible materials that breathe and move with your body are essential for comfort and proper circulation.
  4. Posture-strengthening design: A well-structured back balances the weight of your busy and promotes healthy spinal alignment.
  5. No hard seams or abrasive tags: Seams should be soft and flexible, while labels should be printed or placed where they won’t irritate sensitive skin.
  6. Fit that prioritizes function: A truly supportive bra takes into account the uniqueness of your body.

“You deserve to feel supported, lifted, and at home in your own skin,” McKeen said.

“We’ve been told that looking good means sacrificing how we feel. But that narrative is outdated, and it’s time for a new one,” she continued.
