Won’t kiss, will tell.
A 27-year-old virgin is refusing to lock lips with a man until her wedding day, saying a smooch could quickly lead to sex.
Elezha Hudson, who hails from Texas, says she used to be ashamed of her inexperience, but is now learning to speak out about her preferences and values.
“I’m a virgin and I’m saving this for marriage too,” the anti-tongue toucher told Kennedy News of any possible smooch. “A kiss can sometimes lead to intimacy and I don’t want any of this before my wedding day. “
Hudson is a Christian, but says her faith isn’t the main motivation for avoiding physical intimacy. She understands that other people within her religion regularly romp before being wed, but it’s just not something she’s interested in.
“At one point in high school, I did ask myself if I was scared of intimacy,” she admitted. “I think it’s more about being intimate with someone that doesn’t really like me and they took something from me that’s important. “
Houston-based Hudson says some people are baffled by her ban, saying: “When I speak to people my age or younger, they are usually shocked and sometimes a bit disturbed.”
Some men have even asked if she is in a cult, but the beauty shrugs off those who fail to understand her.
“I don’t feel like I’m missing out,” she confidently declared, saying her sacrifice will be worth it once she meets Mr. Right.
Hudson doesn’t avoid dating, but quickly ends things if men aren’t into her kiss and bonking ban.
“The conversation quickly goes to intimacy and they are normally taken aback when they hear that I’m 27 and a virgin,” the Lone Star State stunner said.
“I get asked if there is something wrong with me or if I’m in a cult, but this doesn’t bother me,” she continued. “I have dated before and usually it’s not a surprise for them as we’ve had a conversation about it even before dating. When I meet the person, some have the same values and some don’t and then the relationship doesn’t continue further.”
With her 30th birthday on the horizon, Hudson isn’t about to compromise on her values, and she hasn’t given up hope of falling in love.
“On my wedding day, I’m excited to share a kiss with someone who wants commitment,” she swooned. “I’m more excited about being with a person that I have a real connection with rather than the kiss itself.”
However, Hudson has also come to terms with the fact she may never lock lips.
“I’m comfortable with the idea that if it never happens [my first kiss or losing my virginity], I’m not missing out on anything,” she declared.
“If a family is what I desire, I can adopt and have a family. I will just be a kissless person.”
