A 75-year-old Queens man was busted Wednesday in the murder of his much-younger wife – whose dismembered remains were found scattered across the borough several months apart, cops and sources said.

Rupchand Simboo, 75, was arrested for murder around 10:25 a.m. inside the South Ozone Park home where he lived with Salisha Ali, 34 — who hailed from Trinidad and Tobago, police said.

Simboo and Ali met back in 2023 and maintained a long-distance relationship while she was living in Trinidad and Tobago, law enforcement sources said.

She moved to Queens in 2024, and the pair eventually got married, according to the sources.

The investigation began after a torso later determined to belong to Ali was found by Sanitation workers stuffed in a trash bag on Sept. 22, 2025, near Idlewood Park, a marshland close to JFK Airport, cops and sources said.

The decomposed torso was missing its head, arms, and legs — and was wrapped in tape and rope, according to cops.

The torso had “several unique and identifiable tattoos,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny previously said of that discovery.

“The doctor further states that he believes that straight edge instruments, such as a knife was used to cut through the soft tissue, and some sort of saw was used to cut through the bone,” the chief said of a forensic anthropologist who was reviewing the case.

Then, on March 5, detectives investigating the case found a human head at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge – about 10 miles from the first scene – and established the link, the sources said.

The exact circumstances of the murder, and where and when it took place, were under investigation Wednesday.

Ali was last seen on July 13 while on FaceTime with a family member, the sources said.

Simboo bizarrely filed a missing report for her that same day, according to the sources.

The senior has one prior arrest from October in connection to the misdemeanor assault of a stranger during a dispute on Liberty Avenue near Forbell Street in Ozone Park, police said.

Simboo, who was also charged with obstructing governmental administration and tampering with physical evidence in the new case, was awaiting arraignment late Wednesday afternoon.
