Alix Earle is reportedly making six figures for promoting a brand on her Instagram Story.

According to a report published by The New York Times on Sunday, April 27, Vickie Segar — whose influencer firm worked with Earle, 24, on brand deals — revealed the eye-popping amount while talking with a group of University of North Carolina student athletes.

When Segar asked seven students from the diving team to guess how much Earle made per Instagram Story, the outlet reported that the group predicted $70,000 or $100,000. Segar, however, replied, “$450,000 per Instagram Story.”

Us Weekly reached out to Earle’s reps for comment.

Earle, who hails from New Jersey, rose to fame in 2022 while a student at the University of Miami, sharing “Get Ready With Me” videos on TikTok. The next year, Earle was named in Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2023.

After graduating college, Earle went on to host the “Hot Mess With Alix Earle” podcast under Alex Cooper’s The Unwell Network. In February, Us Weekly confirmed that Earle’s podcast was dropped from the network. Variety, who broke the news at the time, reported that SiriusXM will no longer sell ads for “Hot Mess” and that the Unwell Network has renounced rights to the podcast.

At the time, eagle-eyed social media users speculated of a rift between Earle and Cooper, 30, with an insider telling Us that there was “a lot of tension” between the twosome.

“They’ve had a lot of drama between them [since] they decided to collaborate on Unwell,” a second source shared in February. “They clashed over business, and their friendship is over because of it.”

In March, Earle shared that she would be pressing pause on her “Hot Mess” podcast as she focused her energy on producing weekly vlogs on YouTube.

“I have to put a pause on podcasting right now for the foreseeable future,” she said via TikTok at the time. “Don’t really want to get into the details of it all, and I kind of can’t get into the details of it all right now, but I’ve loved it so, so much, and I’m really proud of what I built with the podcast.”

Cooper, for her part, reacted to the news hours later. “Hi! I see ur comments. Alix not being able to podcast has nothing to do with Unwell,” Cooper said via her Instagram Story in March. “IDK why she can’t/what’s going on. Unwell gave her everything back. She owns her IP.”
