Photos from inside Gene Hackman’s New Mexico home — where the partially mummified remains of the iconic actor and his wife were found in February — revealed their cluttered abode, with items strewn across various rooms, according to newly released photos.

The revealing images taken by New Mexico authorities give a harrowing glimpse of how Hackman, 95, and his longtime wife, Betsy Arakawa, lived inside their palatial Santa Fe Home in their final days.

Some images show clothes tossed around on the first-floor, as well as dry cleaning still in bags hanging inside a closet.

Other images showed fruits and vegetables left out on a counter, a COVID-19 test box and bottles of medication prescribed to Hackman and Arakawa, 65.

Hackman died a few days after his wife following complications with hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease along with advanced Alzheimer’s disease.

Arakawa’s cause of death stemmed from a rare, rodent-borne disease — hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, officials have said.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
