Gov. Gavin Newsom was seen with Fanatics boss Michael Rubin and other A-listers at the company’s Pier 48 party in San Francisco on Saturday.
California’s governor is clearly enjoying having the Super Bowl in town, having been spotted at several parties and concerts in the lead-up to the big game.
In a video of Rubin’s soiree posted to social media, the governor nearly bro-hugged Fanatics’ billionaire boss Michael Rubin, before the pair had a quiet chat.
How much fun is Gav having before he launches his likely run for president?
It’s a question he has yet to answer — beyond him flashing a thumbs-up to a reporter for The Post when asked if was enjoying himself as he made the rounds with San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie.
Newsom also was seen dancing to performances by Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Ashanti, and Cardi B, before gabbing with actress Teyana Taylor and CBS Mornings host Gayle King.
Two nights earlier at Park Tavern in North Beach, security ushered Newsom into a party and away from cameras and reporters asking him questions.
One source overheard a guard saying as they hustled him away that Newsom was trying to duck The Post.
Saturday’s bash was a Who’s-Who of stars in sports and entertainment.

Earlier in the day, Newsom declared Sunday to be “Bad Bunny Day” in the Golden State ahead of the Puerto Rican superstar’s halftime performance.
In an all-caps tweet meant to mock Trump, Newsom wrote: “As many people know, I am a tremendous lover of ‘The Spanish.’ It is a beautiful language spoken by many beautiful people in the great state of California and across the world.”
He added, “I am also a huge fan of Puerrrrrrrto Rico. That is what I am declaring tomorrow in California as ‘Bad Bunny Day’ when Bad Bunny performs at the big game in the Golden State with his soothing, beautiful voice, and his very nice looks.”
On Friday, Newsom took in a pre-game show by Green Day, which is set to perform an opening act at the Super Bowl. During the set on Friday night, Green Day lead man Billie Joe Armstrong — who has been critical of President Trump and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement — reportedly told the crowd that immigration agents should “quit that sh–ty job.”
Video by SFGate caught Newsom at the event smiling and bobbing his head in the back of the venue.
On Thursday, Newsom attended two parties, one at Rao’s pop-up party where he deftly ducked reporters. Rep. Nancy Pelosi was reportedly spotted at the event chatting with the CEO of Polymarket. The event was hosted by 49ers legend Joe Montana and attended by fellow San Francisco stars Ronnie Lott and Steve Young, as well as ESPN talking head Stephen A. Smith.
Newsom also made time to drop in on a party hosted by former NFL running back and podcast co-host Marshawn Lynch, who shared a short-lived show with the governor called “Politickin’.”
