Gavin Newsom suffered a ruthless send-up at the hands of former SNL star and late-night host Seth Meyers during the governor’s appearance on Live with Jimmy Kimmel! Tuesday night.

Toward the end of Newsom’s interview with Kimmel — which he used to plug his new memori, “Young Man in a Hurry” — Meyers arrived onstage riding a skateboard to deliver a stinging impersonation of the governor.

“Oh, man. I am so psyched to be here for a Newsom twosome,” Meyers joked. “I mean, I just came from a ribbon-cutting sesh at a shelter for non-binary chihuahuas.”

Meyers, sporting matching gray hair and Newsom’s trademark suit-and-tieless look, then awarded the governor a mock trophy “for your tireless work in uniting the people of Cali.”

Newsom chuckled awkwardly as Meyers continued with his act, with Kimmel asking what the trophy was made from.

“Plated with platinum that was ethically sourced from all my expired AMEX cards. And it holds an entire magnum of this thick-a– Sauv Blanc,” Meyers replied.

Kimmel opened his show by jokingly suggesting that Newsom was there to announce a run for president.

Speculation has swirled around the governor’s potential 2028 ambitions, while he continues to catch flak back home several recent trips overseas while problems continue to plague California.

This week, came under fire for shifting blame to counties for his struggling homelessness plan — the latest example of him “passing the buck” on California’s problems as he eyes a presidential bid, critics say.
