The Full Moon in Libra is on the rise, folks — peaking on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, at 10:12 pm EDT at 12°21 Libra

Full moons point to zodiac polarities, as the sign the full moon falls in is always in opposition to the sign the sun is shining through.

This week, the Sun in Aries, concerned with autonomy, opposes the Full Moon in Libra, the sign of partnership.

This is the axis of me vs. we.

These two signs are respectively ruled by the divine feminine (Venus) and the archetypal masculine (Mars).

Libra wants peace at all costs, and Aries wants progress at any price. This moon asks us what needs to shift (Aries) for balance to be restored (Libra).

In honor of that restoration, author and tarot reader Kerry Ward has prepared a tarot spread for each zodiac element using her “Light In The Dark Tarot & Oracle deck,” available here.

Fire signs – Aries, Leo, Sagittarius

Knight of Coins, Temperance, Two of Cups

“This Libran Full Moon has you re-evaluating your relationship dynamics in a major way. And it’s about fairness, mutual support, and reciprocity,” said Ward.

She notes that Fire folk may be increasingly aware of feeling taken advantage of and/or of having their own needs eschewed for someone else’s.

“You are so diplomatic and easygoing that this has all happened without a squabble or bad word spoken. Others will be surprised when you raise these issues, but raise them you must,” emphasized Ward.

She shared that the Knight of Coins indicates an imbalance in relationship effort, while Temperance shows that equity is not only possible but probable.

“Finally, the loving Two of Cups restores the harmony and good vibes you’re craving, in a fair and equitable way. All’s well that ends well.”

Earth signs – Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn

Knight of Wands, Ten of Cups, The Sun

According to Ward, a bit of relationship drama can help measure how much you mean to your significant other and how capable they are of making your heart race and your fever rise.

“I feel like this mini soap opera will play out in your favor and restore the preciousness of your bond. I am not recommending playing games with people’s feelings, but maybe you do need to pressure test what your presence (or absence…) really means,” she said.

Ward recommends introducing a little scarcity play.

“Give someone the gift of missing you (a little) and then return with a flourish and watch their eyes light up!”

The Knight of Wands supports you in taking this chance and playing this hand, while the Ten of Cups card symbolizes “falling in love” again.

Better yet, “The Sun sees you both heading off into a new horizon, maybe a wonderful holiday or trip awaits,” promised Ward.

Air signs – Gemini, Libra, Aquarius

King of Wands, Two of Coins, Six of Wands

Ward shared that air signs need the element that defines them.

“Even the closest and most intimate relationship in your life needs breathing space, and plenty of it. All Air signs crave freedom and their own agency to do what they please. This Full Moon brings this contrast into focus,” she said.

Perhaps people are pushing too hard for your company, or you find yourself needing more solitude and less socialization than usual.

“Talk about your needs and their needs, and what has changed. Just because you’ve always done something one way doesn’t mean that’s written in stone. We all evolve,” said Ward.

She shared that the King of Wands and Two of Coins represent your intrinsic need for adventure and freedom, while the Six of Wands shows that relationships need building, protecting, and investing in.

“Get this balance right and things will thrive.”

Water signs – Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces

Knight of Cups, The Fool, Six of Coins

Ward notes that for water signs, the daily grind and reciprocity, or lack thereof, are at the forefront of their minds.

“You feel like you need a fresh spin on things, a new routine, a different perspective, because you, honestly, feel a little resentful about how you’re treated in some quarters, and this Full Moon is stirring those feelings up,” she said.

While water folk often struggle with boundaries, she shared that a “hard stop” is on the horizon.

“A line will be drawn, and there’s no going back, only forwards! Good for you!”

This action in support of actualization is both reflected in and supported by this Full Moon tarot spread.

” The Knight of Cups is the tender part of you that always wants to give, care, support, and help. The Fool is the surging feeling that this needs rebooting, or you’ll be drained dry. The Six of Coins shows you can achieve the reciprocity you seek; there is balance to be had, but a new beginning is required.”
