Four NYPD officers were hospitalized late Monday after two police cruisers crashed into each other while responding to a report of shots fired in Queens.

The two marked vehicles collided in the Rockaways at the busy intersection of Rockaway Freeway and Seagirt Boulevard near Beach 34 Street around 9:10 p.m., according to police.

Photos from the scene show the two mangled vehicles on the side of the road. One appears to have sustained heavy damage to the front while the other looks like it was struck on the passenger side.

The four officers were taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.

No one was injured and no arrests were made regarding the shots fired, cops said.

The intersection where the cars crashed is a meeting of three major roads below an elevated A-train subway track.
