West Wilson and Amanda Batula shared a tight bond before their friendship turned romantic.
Prior to confirming their relationship in March 2026, Batula and Wilson dated other members of the Summer House cast. Wilson dated Batula’s BFF Ciara Miller on-and-off in 2023, while Batula was previously married to Kyle Cooke. (Batula and Cooke announced their separation in January 2026.)
Following the couple’s split, rumors swirled that Batula was romantically linked to Wilson and Jesse Solomon. Batula shut down the speculation during a March 2026 appearance on Jason Tartick’s “Trading Secrets” podcast.
“It’s not going to happen. I’m not touching any of my cast members,” Batula said. “Love them dearly, but I’m good.”
Later that month, Batula and Wilson issued a joint statement via Instagram explaining that their platonic relationship had evolved into something more.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” read an Instagram statement from the pair. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything.”

West Wilson Talks About Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s Dynamic With Loverboy
During a June 2024 appearance on “The Viall Files” podcast, West Wilson admitted that he couldn’t comprehend how Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke handled being business partners while in a relationship.
“I don’t know how it could ever be easy or smooth. I think if he let her do her own s*** [and] she stopped working for Loverboy, I think they’d love each other,” Wilson recalled. “That dynamic of work s*** is not healthy at all, for anyone.”
Wilson added that the “power dynamics” between Batula and Cooke were off since the beverage brand was founded by Cooke.
“It’s not like they started it together,” Wilson explained, noting he “couldn’t imagine being in business with my wife.”
Wilson also shared his thoughts on how Batula and Cooke approach their disagreements.
“They both talk s*** to each other,” he said. “I think his is when he’s angry and hers is more jokey, but I would never support anyone calling their wife the B-word. It’s not great.”
Amanda Batula Defends West Wilson After Ciara Miller Split
Amanda Batula came to West Wilson’s defense after the internet was “really hard on him” following his split from Ciara Miller.
“Everyone was like, ‘West is the best’ [and] the No. 1 guy. [Then] It’s like, ‘Screw West,’” Batula exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2025 about the fallout
Batula added that she “supports Ciara’s feelings” while still sympathizing with Wilson.
West Wilson Reacts to Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s Split
West Wilson addressed Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s announcement to separate.
“It’s a weird world because their relationship has been so public,” Wilson said of his costars during a January 2026 episode of the “Show Me Something” podcast. “But obviously, they should both be awarded privacy if that’s what they want.”
Wilson continued, “You almost feel like people feel entitled to your personal business because they’ve watched you be public about everything. My big thing would be to tell other people who are on the internet to be respectful.”
Wilson also added that he knows the breakup was tough for both Batula and Cooke even if it was the right decision.
“Even if this is what’s best for them and it’s all going to be for the better, it is still objectively a hard thing to do,” he said. “It is probably so f***ing exhausting. I can’t speak for them, but I am proud of them up until this point.”
West Wilson on Connecting With Amanda Batula Post-Split
During a March 2026 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, West Wilson shared that he was “just hanging out” with Amanda Batula because “she’s single now.”
“That’s [a] very important person to me and I care about her a lot,” he said. “That’s a friend.”
Amanda Batula and West Wilson Confirm Their Relationship
After months of speculation, Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed their romance.
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything,” the couple wrote in a March 2026 Instagram Story. “Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
They continued, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
Batula and Wilson shared that their “feelings evolved” past the point of friendship.
“We wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling,” they shared. “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
