Brooks Nader and her former Dancing With the Stars partner, Gleb Savchenko, may be friendly after their split, but they’re not planning on reconnecting.
“They are on good terms and still have insane chemistry but are definitely not getting back together,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “There’s no rekindled romance going on.”
The insider adds that Nader, 28, and Savchenko, 41, “have to rehearse for the DWTS finale together” so they are “cordial right now.”
“Their relationship was an abrupt breakup, but they have cleared the air,” the source says. “Brooks is happily single right now and didn’t think they were serious to begin with.”
Us confirmed that Nader and Savchenko were “hooking up” amid their stint on DWTS season 33. Days after getting matching tattoos and being eliminated from the reality series, Us confirmed that their whirlwind romance fizzled out. “Gleb ended things, but Brooks is continuing to live her best life,” another source told Us in October.
Since their split, Nader and Savchenko have continued poking fun at their romance via TikTok — with some eagle-eyed fans questioning whether they were filming in the same location. The pair fueled reconciliation rumors on Saturday, November 16, when they were spotted at the Los Angeles hotspot Chateau Marmont.
After their recent outing, Savchenko exclusively cleared up the rumors to Us by explaining that the twosome were having “some creative meetings.”
“We’re performing next week,” Savchenko told Us at the 11th annual American Reality Television Awards on Monday, November 18. “We’re getting together. We’ve had some zoom calls and we talk about the choreography, talk about the costumes and the music and what we’re doing.”
Savchenko, who was styled by Lisa Cera and wearing a Stile Latino suit and YSL shoes at the event, told Us that he and Nader are dancing a rumba.
“We chose to perform our last dance together as a Rumba, the dance of love,” he told Us. “It’s gonna be very special and I’m very much looking forward to it.”
When it comes to their tattoo, Savchenko told Us that he’s “absolutely not” removing his — despite Nader telling TMZ she’s “in the process” of getting rid of their matching ink.
“Listen, it’s a moment. It’s a memory. It’s a feeling. I love having it on my body,” Savchenko told Us. “Every time I look in the mirror, every morning, I look at the tattoo I was like, ‘Awww.’ Zero regrets.”
Dancing With the Stars airs simultaneously on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
The American Reality Television Award Show will premiere on Friday, November 29, on Roku Channel, Pluto TV and Xumo.
