Priscilla Robertson officially became a new mom this week.
On Monday, October 6, 19-year-old Priscilla, who is the daughter of Duck Dynasty’s Jessica Robertson and Jep Robertson, welcomed her first baby, daughter August, with boyfriend Dillon Nash.
“On October 6th I was blessed with the responsibility and the title to become a father,” Nasha wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, October 8, alongside a photo of the newborn’s hand wrapped around his finger. “I am so blessed to be able to take care of this beautiful little girl and do it with the love of my life @priscillajunerobertson. We are so proud to welcome August Mae Nash to the World ❤️❤️.”
Priscilla, for her part, reshared Nash’s post to her own Instagram Story, writing, “Our Beautiful Baby is Here 🩷🎀☺️.”
Three months earlier, Jessica, 44 — who also shares kids Lily, 22, Merritt, 20, River, 16, and Gus, 9, with Jep, 47 — took to social media to announce that Priscilla was expecting her first little one.
“Me & Jep are excited to welcome another new grandbaby in October,” she said on Instagram alongside pictures of Priscilla holding her baby bump. “Priscilla will give birth to our granddaughter & we are blessed to add another grandbaby.”
Although Jessica noted that Priscilla’s pregnancy wasn’t in “the plans” that they “laid out” for her, the family is viewing it as a blessing.
“But God takes our meager offerings and turns them into His greatest blessings!” she wrote. “We are so proud that Priscilla & Dillon chose life for their baby and we will all be rewarded with this precious baby girl! We pray blessings on her pregnancy & ask God for a safe delivery for Mom & Baby. We praise God for His perfect gifts! 💛Pray for us! 3 babies under 1!”
Nearly a month after Jessica broke the news, Priscilla shared an update of her then-growing bump.
“Once upon a time a boy loved a girl 💕now they are about to love someone even more 🩷🩵#teenmom #1sttimemom #boyorgirl,” she shared via Instagram in August alongside a mirror selfie and a photo of her holding her belly.
Nash also echoed Priscilla’s excitement in his own Instagram post.
“I may be young, but the moment I saw you, my heart grew up,” he said in August alongside photos of a sonogram. “You’re my reason now, and I promise to be everything you need. ❤️👶#FirstTimeDad#teendad#baby#excited#miracle#weready#whatisthegender.”
The young couple also celebrated the arrival of their little one in a sweet baby shower thrown by Nash’s family.
“@dillonnash and I had a great night celebrating our baby girl on the way with his family!” Priscilla said via Instagram in September. “We are so thankful for the love and support shown to us these past few months! And I’m so grateful to be a part of a family like his! #babyshower.”
Priscilla’s parents rose to fame on the reality series Duck Dynasty, which ran from 2012 to 2017. Jessica and Jep, who is the son of Phil Robertson and Kay Robertson, tied the knot in 2001 and went on to have their own show, Jep & Jessica: Growing the Dynasty, which aired from 2016 to 2017.
