An SUV driver blew through a red light and plowed into an elderly woman crossing a Brooklyn street — then left her to die and sped away, cops said Sunday.

Judith Byron, 75, had the walk signal as she entered the crosswalk at Seventh Avenue on 41st street in Sunset Park at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, when a silver SUV went through the light and rammed into her, according to authorities.

Byron was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center, but died later that evening.

Her heartbroken daughter, Tomasina Byron, told The Post said she wished she could have been by her mother’s side in her final moments.

“I have no hatred towards the person,” Byron told The Post in a phone interview, saying she was due to fly home from Puerto Rico to see her Sunday.

“I just wish I had been there to hold her hand and let her know everything was going to be OK, that she wasn’t alone.”

Byron had adopted Tomasina out of foster care and the two were very close, she said.

“We talk every single day and she’s my best friend,” Tomasina said.

Just two hours before she died, Byron had face timed her daughter and 1-year-old granddaughter from New York.

“She just told me, ‘I can’t wait to see my girls, I miss you guys so much’, and I said ‘I’ll see you tomorrow!’” Tomasina said. “That was the last thing I said to my mom.”

Byron was remembered as a selfless person, volunteering whenever she can and always helping people in the neighborhood. On 9/11, she helped hand out food to first responders. She had been walking Tomasina’s dog the night she died.

“My mom is so sweet, everybody loved her,” Tomasina said.

The hit-and-run driver had no been arrested by Sunday evening.
