Dorit and PK Kemsley’s ongoing divorce just got a bit messier.
PK, 57, filed for joint custody of their two kids — son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, 8 — on Friday, May 9, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly. He also waived his right to spousal support, asking the court to terminate Dorit’s request and asked that both parties pay their own attorney fees. (Page Six was first to report the news.)
Friday’s filing comes exactly two weeks after Dorit, 48, filed for divorce from PK on April 25. Court documents obtained by Us Weekly at the time confirmed that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. She also asked for sole legal and physical custody of their two kids and requested spousal support.
Dorit and PK announced their separation in May 2024, sharing a joint statement on Instagram at the time.
“We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage,” they wrote, in part, at the time. “We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together.”
Their decision to split was a focal point of RHOBH season 14, which came to an end last month. While the show was filming, Dorit played coy about pulling the plug on an actual divorce from PK.
However, Dorit’s divorce filing came one day after PK was spotted kissing The Amazing Race alum Shana Wall during an outing in Beverly Hills on April 24. In photos obtained by E! News at the time, the duo locked lips outside Cipriani’s restaurant.
At the time, a source told Us Weekly exclusively that Dorit reached her “last straw” before officially filing for divorce. The insider confirmed that her decision was made after PK’s kissing photos went public, however “things were already done” between them.
“Dorit and PK had promised each other if they were to see other people, they would not be so public for the children’s sake,” the source shared. “The divorce was already in the works and after the photos came out, she was ready to file.”
While the duo attempted to keep things cordial as they navigated the separation, PK’s kissing photos changed things.
“They aren’t too friendly right now after the photos came out,” the source added, noting that Dorit “feels like it was calculated with the intent to hurt her. And she was hurt. She felt stabbed in the heart.”
