A popular Jamaican DJ whose 25-year-old son was fatally stabbed in Brooklyn Friday night said he “couldn’t stop crying” when he learned that he’d lost his second child in a 16-month span.

Michael Davey, a veteran dancehall artist better known as Powerman, said his son Christopher was headed to the laundromat for his mother when he was ambushed around the corner from his East Flatbush home around 5:30 p.m.

“I couldn’t stop crying,” the heartbroken dad told The Post Saturday. “My ex-wife, his mother, called me crying.”

She said, ‘They killed Chris, him dead, him dead,”  Davey recalled.

The younger Davey was stabbed twice in front of 882 Albany Ave. about three blocks from his home on Linden Boulevard, according to police.

The dad said his son, who was born in Jamaica, was dropping off clothes at the laundromat when he was heinously kniifed — in a crime he called “wicked” in an emotional post on Facebook Saturday.

EMS rushed him to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, where he later died.

The killing was the second tragedy the older Davey has suffered.

Last May, he lost his 32-year-old stepson, a tractor trailer mechanic, when he died while working in upstate New York — although details of his death remain unclear.

Christopher Davey had been depressed over his brother’s death, quit his job and spent his days playing video games, according to his father.

“He was going through a lot of problems,” the dad said. “He had just lost his brother and he went into depression.”

Now the dad’s main focus is finding the person who killed his younger son Friday — and bringing him to “justice.”

“First and foremost, I’m looking for justice for my son,” he raged.

“There has to be some example set. The streets wouldn’t be safe for no one if they think they can walk up and kill people.”

The father went to the scene of the crime after he learned what happened.

“I saw a little black scissors on the ground,” he said. “I saw blood on the sidewalk.”

Police couldn’t confirm that the scissors were the murder weapon, a police spokesman said.

Two men were seen fleeing the scene in a dark sedan. One was wearing a white tank top and blue jeans, and there was no description of the second suspect, police said.

“I don’t know them,” the father said of the killers. “I want to see them.”

Powerman became popular in the 1990s and is known for his 1991 hit song “Stone.”

“I have to stay strong because I have more kids,” Davey said. “I have to stay strong for them and myself.”
