Say it ain’t so.

One of the exciting things cruise guests look forward to after a long day is coming back to a tidied-up room with a little intricately folded towel animal on their bed — a little touch cruise housekeepers are known for doing.

However, a cruise-goer learned the hard way, due to some sloppiness on the workers’ part, that these adorable little animals are not handmade on the spot — but instead they’re prewrapped and placed in a plastic bag.

In a TikTok video with over 959,000 views, Matt (@mynamesmattt) shared the unexpected news for a very niche group of people.

“I don’t mean to be the bearer of bad news but I need to show you something. As we go underneath the bed, I found something shocking,” Matt said as he pulled out a clear plastic bag with none other than an assortment of hidden little towel animals.

“Already wrapped towel animals. Yep. It’s like finding out Santa isn’t real, oh my god,” he continued in disbelief.

People in the video’s comment section were just as shocked.

“Pulling back the curtain on Oz.”

“i’ve never even been on a cruise and i feel scammed.”

“Noooo don’t tell us this.”

One petty Betty commenter even suggested that Matt “Uno reverse housekeeping and leave one on the bed for them,” in which Matt did and posted it in a follow-up video.

And while some people are up in arms over the lack of creativity when it comes to towel figures — other cruise passengers are brawling over none other than — chicken tenders.

On a recent Carnival cruise ship that was heading back to Miami, about a dozen hungry travelers started throwing fists around 2 a.m.

“Where the f–k is security?!” a bystander was heard saying in the footage of the wild incident.

Although the group was in line for the video and some assumed it was over something as innocent as chicken tenders — it is still unclear what exactly caused this fight to break out.
