Craig Conover hasn’t watched Southern Charm costar Shep Rose‘s rant about his split from Paige DeSorbo — but he’s heard enough about it.

“My assistant told me about it this morning,” Craig, 36, said while appearing on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live after BravoCon 2025 wrapped up in Las Vegas. “And I purposely said, ‘I don’t want to see it.’ I’m aware of it, like, contextually. But I wasn’t there.”

Craig noted that he “stayed busy” throughout BravoCon weekend, adding, “I think I’m bummed because it brought me and Paige’s name into it … and it looks like that was a big topic, but in reality, like, I don’t know, I had nothing but nice things to say about her and it had nothing to do with us.”

During a panel at the Bravo fan convention, Craig was asked about Paige, 33, and said the former couple had “a really fun three years” together before calling it quits in late 2024.

“I grew as a person so much. I only have positive memories. … I’m bummed that she’s not here because I know she loves this stuff and enjoyed it, but everyone is on their own journey,” Craig continued.

Fans saw Shep, 45, share a different opinion after taping an episode of Watch What Happens Live in Las Vegas on Saturday, November 15, during which members of the Summer House cast joked that they “won” their feud with Southern Charm because Craig wasn’t there with them.

Shep was also booed when he said he would “kill” Paige in a game of “Shag, Marry, Kill.” (Us was present for the taping and heard Shep say something along the lines of, “What am I going to do, marry the girl who broke my friend’s heart?”)

In a video posted by Page Six on Monday, November 17, Shep gave his unfiltered take on Paige and Craig’s breakup. “She and Craig made millions of dollars on reality TV’s back. And then she broke up with him on her podcast!” he claimed.

Shep could later be heard saying, “Talk about biting the hands that feeds you or ignoring the hand that feeds you,” and alleged that Paige and Craig’s relationship was “a sham the whole time.”

“How many more followers did you get? 200?” he said. (Bravo had no comment on the video.)

Paige replied to Shep’s diss in the comments section of the fan account Queens of Bravo’s Instagram post about the clip, writing, “I can lend him some if he needs it?”

During his radio appearance, Craig admitted some comments made during Saturday’s WWHL taping were triggering.

“I guess my name kept getting brought up,” Craig said. “I heard [Shep] got back to the casino and was really fired up about what happened at that panel. Because when he came up to me he said, ‘Something happened dude, but I was trying to have your back.’”

Craig pointed out that Shep should know better than to go off in a public setting after being in the spotlight for more than 10 years. “But also you just want to be like, ‘Guys, I’m good. It was a year ago,’” Craig continued. “Why are we still — it’s not even us talking about it, me or Paige. It’s everyone else talking about it and it seems to keep this thing alive and you kind of just want it to die.”

Paige announced her exit from Summer House in June after seven years on the show. Craig, meanwhile, is kicking off season 11 of Southern Charm, which premieres Wednesday, November 19.
