Talk about taking a breakup to new heights.

A heartbroken Brit turned her bad-decision tattoo into a first-class joke — by transforming her ex’s name into her favorite budget airline.

Katie Allan, 22, inked her boyfriend’s name “Ryan” on her right hip last November after he bet her she wouldn’t do it.

“I stupidly got his name tattooed,” Allan, a barmaid from Macclesfield, Cheshire, told Kennedy News.

“He was like, ‘I bet you wouldn’t do it. I bet you’d never do that.’ So while he was at work one day, I just went and got it done.”

The tattoo cost her £25, $33.51 — and her dignity when the couple split up this past July.

Suddenly, Allan was stuck with the world’s most awkward souvenir.

“Me and the girls were thinking of cover-ups and then we thought, ‘What if we didn’t even cover it, what if we added air to it and turned it into Ryanair?’” she told the outlet.

After all, just two weeks after the breakup, Allan hopped on a Ryanair flight to Ibiza — making the cheeky fix feel like it was meant to be.

On October 9, she went back to the same tattoo artist who did her original tat and she happily added “air” to the end of her ink — for free.

“She loves it because she was the one that actually tattooed his name in the first place and was trying to tell me not to do it,” Allan said with a laugh.

“I was like, ‘No it’s fine, it’s funny.’ And then as soon as we split up I was like, ‘erm, so… I 100% hate that name now.’”

The rebrand has taken off online: a video this ex-girlfriend posted to TikTok showing her transformation has racked up more than 715,000 views, with viewers calling her a “genius.”

“I’ve had loads of people say it’s stupid and all sorts,” she said. “I’m like, ‘it’s not stupid, it’s funny.’ I’m not bothered at all. I think it’s hilarious. I love it. It’s my new favorite tattoo now.”

And no, she doesn’t expect a lifetime of free flights — though she’s not ruling out a little compensation.

“I don’t feel like I’m owed free flights for life,” she joked. “Maybe just a cheeky holiday to Ibiza.”

Allan insists there’s no bitterness — just banter.

“It wasn’t heartbreaking having to get it covered up,” she said.

“I felt fine doing it. I got it done because of a bet anyway so I just needed to prove that I would do it. I’m too stubborn to not do it.”

Most people wouldn’t dream of slapping a lover’s name on their face — unless, of course, you’ve got a boyfriend like “Kevin.”

“Getting my [boyfriend’s] name tattooed on my face,” gushed London ink-lover Ana Stanskovsky in a 2023 TikTok post. “Let’s do it!”

The footage — which racked up millions of views — shows her getting beau Kevin Freshwater’s name needled just below her hairline in bold, black letters.

“Yes, it’s real,” she confirmed. “I can’t even believe it myself that I did it.”

“I know it’s a little bit crazy,” Stanskovsky added. “But I like to express my feelings, and I think if you really love someone you should be able to show it off.”

And if your partner isn’t on board? Ana’s advice is simple: “If your girlfriend doesn’t wanna tattoo your name on her face, you just need to find yourself a new girlfriend.”
