Authorities revealed the cause of death for Corie Walsh ’s 2-year-old son, whom she allegedly killed after she became “invested” in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial.
Walsh’s son Barrett was found by a neighbor in the family’s Frankfort, Illinois, home on September 1. Walsh, 40, was also found in the house trying to harm herself with a knife.
Two weeks after the horrific incident, authorities determined Barrett’s death was caused by asphyxia “due to ligature compression of the neck,” according to a criminal complaint viewed by People .
