Brooks Nader is setting the record straight about her relationship status.
After being photographed chatting with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Dakota Mortensen at the show’s premiere event in New York on November 11, Nader assured fans it was just friendly banter.
“I love all of the Mormon Wives, and I love the show. We’re both in the Hulu gang, and I just met him for the first time,” Nader, 28, exclusively told Us Weekly while celebrating the all-new, all-electric 2026 Jeep Recon on Tuesday, November 18. “We were just chatting like normal people, and it got spun out of control. There was a rumor that we left together, and I actually left with my sisters. We went to dinner so things spun out of control.”
Although Nader admitted Mortensen, 30, is “super cute” and she loves the show, there’s no love story going on.
“There’s nothing more than that,” she said. “I don’t even know anything about him to be honest with you.”
As for the chatter that Nader could be linked to Nina Dobrev’s ex-fiancé Shaun White, the model said pictures taken outside an Alice + Olivia event in New York on November 12 don’t tell the whole story.
“He was just saying, ‘Hi,’” she told Us. “I was still in my car. I didn’t even get out.”
While Nader thinks all the dating rumors can be funny, the former Dancing With the Stars contestant admitted that it catches her dad’s attention every time.
“I swear I’m single and if I’m flirting, you’ve been there too. Do not judge me. Let me flirt in peace,” she joked. “My poor dad, though, calls me every other day, and he’s like, ‘Now, who’s this one? Now, there’s another one. Now, who’s this one? And what am I supposed to tell my friends in Louisiana?’ And I’m like, ‘I’m having a damn conversation.’ It’s so crazy.”
While stepping out for the big reveal of the 2026 Jeep Recon, Nader was able to get up close and personal with the first and only fully electric Trail Rated SUV in the industry.
Production of the 2026 Jeep Recon will begin early next year with initial launches in the United States and Canada.
“Jeep has a special place in my heart. My first ever makeout in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was with a high schooler and he had a black Jeep Cherokee,” Nader joked to Us. “His name was Caleb. He was super cute.”
As Nader continues to balance modeling, family time and more reality TV — Love Thy Nader is rumored to be coming back for a season 2 — she reiterated that she is single and ready to see what the future holds.
“As I’ve said before, I have a little roster or a little bench that I build,” Nader joked. “Some get kicked out. Some get promoted.”
As for speculation that she was once considered to be the lead of ABC’s The Bachelorette, Nader said it’s not true. Instead, she’s excited to watch Mortensen’s ex, Taylor Frankie Paul, search for her forever partner.
“She’s going to kill it, and I cannot wait to watch her season,” she said. “I have a filming schedule. I couldn’t and wouldn’t be able to [do The Bachelorette]. Also, I think that’s one of those shows that I prefer to watch.”
