These apocalyptic predictions have people quaking.
Baba Vanga, also known as Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, was a blind Bulgarian psychic widely known for her alleged powers of precognition.
It’s only April, which means a lot can still happen in 2025 — and unfortunately for us, it seems that Vanga predicted a few eye-opening things to happen to the world this year.
According to the Daily Mail, although she passed away in 1996, the mystic healer predicted major world events that came true — including 9/11, Princess Diana’s death, and the rise of China.
2025 was not excluded from the blind mystic’s frightening predictions. She forecasted “that 2025 would bring shattering earthquakes” — despite there being no official recording of her vague premonitions and their veracity.
Other 2025 Vanga predictions include a war breaking out in Europe, and a worldwide economic disaster.
She also claimed that the downfall of humanity will begin in 2025 — with the world officially ending in 5079, according to various reports.
Out of all of her predictions, she was spot on about the earthquake one, so far.
On March 28, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit Myanmar, a country in Asia and parts of Thailand — killing thousands of people and causing widespread damage.
This week, the death toll from the Myanmar earthquake rose to more than 1,700 as more bodies have been pulled from the rubble, according to the country’s military-led government.
Across the border in Thailand, authorities said at least 10 people were killed, 16 injured and 101 missing from three construction sites, including a high-rise under construction that collapsed.
The earthquakes didn’t stop there. Tonga, an Oceania nation, was also struck by a 7.1 earthquake, prompting a tsunami warning for the Pacific Island country.

2033: The polar ice caps will melt, raising sea levels to drastic heights worldwide.

2170: A drought will devastate much of the world.
3005: Earth will go to war with a civilization on Mars.
3797: Humans will have to vacate the Earth because it’s become uninhabitable.
5079: The world will end.
