Blake Lively attended a Chanel event in New York City hours after a judge dismissed Justin Baldoni’s lawsuit against her and husband Ryan Reynolds.

Lively, 37, stunned in a white crochet dress on the red carpet at Chanel’s annual Tribeca Film Festival Dinner on Monday, June 9. She happily posed for photos before heading into the party with a friend.

Earlier on Monday, Judge Lewis J. Liman tossed out Baldoni’s $400 million lawsuit directed at Lively and Reynolds, 48, and also dismissed the actor’s $250 million libel complaint against The New York Times. The outlet was the first to report that Lively had accused her It Ends With Us director and costar of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her in 2024.

The judge added that Baldoni, 41, can amend his claims for breach of implied covenant and tortious interference with contract, and has until June 23 to do so. (Us Weekly has reached out to Baldoni for comment.)

After the dismissal, Lively broke her silence with a statement via her Instagram Story, vowing to continue to “stand up” for women’s rights.

“Last week, I stood proudly alongside 19 organizations united in defending women’s rights to speak up for their safety,” Lively stated. “Like so many others, I’ve felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us.”

She added, “While the suit against me was defeated, so many don’t have the resources to fight back.”

The Gossip Girl alum noted that she’s “more resolved than ever to continue to stand for every woman’s right to have a voice in protecting themselves, including their safety, their integrity, their dignity and their story.”

She also explained that “there are protections out there” for women in need, linking out to “some of the incredible organizations” she has worked with or knows exist such as National Network to End Domestic Violence and National Organization for Women.

“With love and gratitude for the many who stood by me, many of you I know. Many of you I don’t,” Lively concluded. “But I will never stop appreciating or advocating for you. — B.”

Lively and Baldoni have been involved in a contentious legal battle since Lively accused Baldoni of creating a hostile work environment on the set of It Ends With Us. Baldoni denied the claims in her December 2024 complaint, including allegations of sexual harassment toward Lively. He later filed a countersuit against her, Reynolds, and their publicist Leslie Sloane.

Lively and Reynolds filed motions to dismiss Baldoni’s lawsuit in March and Sloane requested to be removed. (Meanwhile, Lively’s original lawsuit against Baldoni heads to trial in March 2026.)

On Monday, Lively’s team issued a statement to Us, declaring: “Today’s opinion is a total victory and a complete vindication for Blake Lively, along with those that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties dragged into their retaliatory lawsuit, including Ryan Reynolds, Leslie Sloane and The New York Times.”
