Bindi Irwin and her husband, Chandler Powell, have temporarily traded life in Australia for Los Angeles — for a very good reason.

“I wanted to share a life update with you. We have officially moved to Los Angeles — not forever [but] for the next three months,” Irwin, 27, said in a Saturday, August 30, Instagram video. “Australia Zoo will always be home, but we are here to support my incredible brother on Dancing With the Stars.”

Bindi’s younger brother, Robert Irwin, is one of the competitors on DWTS season 34, premiering next month. Robert, 21, is, of course, following in Bindi’s footsteps in the ballroom. (Bindi and Robert, 21, are the children of Terri Irwin and the late crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin.)

“Oh my goodness, it was about 10 years that I competed on Dancing With the Stars in America — and I won with my amazing partner, Derek [Hough],” Bindi added on Saturday, referring to her 2015 victory. “It was a life-changing experience that I will always be grateful for, and now, my little brother’s gonna be on the show.”

She continued, “I can’t wait to support him and cheer him on every week in the audience, and maybe lend some advice here and there. He is going to shine, though, and I know in my heart that he’s gonna make it far because he’s such a fantastic human being.”

Bindi and Powell, 28, traveled to Los Angeles with daughter Grace Warrior, 4, and Bindi’s mom.

“We’re here to cheer for Robert @dancingwiththestars,” Terri captioned an Instagram selfie with Bindi, Powell and Grace in their apartment building.

According to the mother-daughter duo, they both plan to attend as many DWTS episodes as possible.

“If you’re wondering who will be cheering the loudest in the audience — it will definitely be me and Grace,” Bindi captioned her social media video. “She has already chosen all her dresses to wear in the ballroom audience each week.”

Robert is currently in rehearsals for the Tuesday, September 16, premiere and recently gave Us Weekly insight into his training mindset.

“I’m just going to get real for a second, I’m so nervous,” Robert exclusively told Us in May. “I just don’t really know what to expect. … You have no idea how grateful I am to have Bindi, who went through this experience. Not only did she do Dancing With the Stars, I mean, she won Dancing With the Stars and just was such an incredible shining light. I remember watching [her] on that show just thinking, ‘This is the coolest thing ever.’”

Dancing With the Stars premieres on ABC and Disney+ Tuesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET.
