Gott’s Roadside, the Northern California institution that turned a humble roadside stand into a James Beard Award-winning culinary destination, is finally making its long-awaited SoCal debut.
The cult favorite eatery is set to open its doors on March 6 at the iconic Original Farmers Market, right in the heart of the Grove’s high-traffic hustle.
This isn’t your average greasy spoon. The Los Angeles flagship is sticking to the hits that made it famous: Ahi Poke tacos, the California Burger (topped with a fried egg, bacon, gruyère cheese and balsamic onions on a brioche bun), and the Kimchi Burger with spicy gochujang mayo on a toasted egg bun for those looking for a kick.
A first for Gott’s, the new location will feature a soft-serve window with Strauss organic vanilla and chocolate swirly scoops. To wash it all down, the beverage list includes wine and beer.
“There’s a million great burgers out there, and there are at least 100 in LA,” Gott’s co-founder Joel Gott told SFGate. “Hopefully, we’re one of those 100.”
Located on the corner of 3rd and Fairfax, the new spot occupies prime 3,500-square-foot of real estate, complete with a patio and communal picnic tables.
The company has already confirmed its second LA location, which is slated to open in the fall of 2026 in Santa Monica.
