Bachelor in Paradise alum Kat Izzo is being accused of writing messages to a secret offscreen boyfriend while filming season 10 of the reality dating series.

During the Tuesday, August 19, episode of “The Viall Files” podcast, hosted by Nick Viall, guest Allyshia Gupta, who appeared on the current season before leaving in week seven with Sean McLaughlin, labeled Kat, 29, as a “not an honest person” before detailing her claim.

Allyshia, 30, alleged that after she left the show with Sean, 28, they had “a conversation” with Sean’s best friend in Tampa, Florida, who was apparently Kat’s former boyfriend.

“Her boyfriend at the time, he’s like, ‘You won’t believe who ended up screwing me over.’ He fills us in [and] she’s been sending him love letters since day one in Paradise,” Allyshia claimed on the episode. “She snuck her iPad in, she was sending things to get him through, like, ‘This will last you until I get back out of Paradise,’ and, like, that’s crazy.”

Us Weekly has reached out to Kat for comment.

Viall, 44, said he was unaware of the iPad claim but did mention he was told about Kat’s alleged communication attempts with an offscreen boyfriend after bumping into a friend who also “had some things to say about Kat.”

Viall said in response to Allyshia’s accusation, “I heard she somehow wrote some messages on her arm for him.”

Allyshia noted that she “wouldn’t pick Kat” as somebody she would ever spend time with. “She doesn’t tell the truth,” Allyshia said on the podcast.

Kat, who first rose to fame after starring on Zach Shallcross’s season of The Bachelor in 2023, is starring on season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise after her debut stint last year. Despite ending season 9 with an engagement to John Henry Spurlock, Kat was single again by the end of the year.

As for how things currently stand, Kat and Islander Dale Moss have given one another roses at each Bachelor in Paradise rose ceremony so far.

Kat’s split from John Henry surprised fans of the show as the news went public just days after the season 9 finale aired in December 2023.

A statement released by both Kat and John Henry read at the time, “With mutual love and respect, Kat and I have recently decided to part ways. While our paths are taking different directions due to our career goals not aligning, we are grateful for the love and support we’ve received from our family, friends, and Bachelor Nation.”

As for Allyshia’s relationship with Sean, Allyshia confirmed on the “Viall Files” podcast episode that the pair are still together.
